# End of High APR derived the decision - I almost forgot how to withdraw.  The high APR fest in Binance did not last long and it does not make sense now to keep hive there as we can earn more by staking them and earning from curation rewards. If you remember, then I highlighted the high APR of 45% in this [post](https://peakd.com/hive-180505/@sanjeevm/binance-luring-hive-deposits-with-a-45percent-apr) after which many hive users got lured and deposited and registered in their Simple Earn program. I don't go much behind numbers but earning close to 53 hive is what showed up in the report. Looking at the daily rewards it was pretty negligible, so I decided to bring them here and power up. It will also increase my vote value, so that will also allow me to distribute a little more and support others.  Interestingly I almost forgot how to withdraw to my wallet, as Binance kept on prompting for a memo key, so at first I tried with 1 hive, without a memo.  Once it went through, I transferred the remaining amount and they landed in my wallet almost instantly, which I powered up.   Now coming to my strategy for hive, at one point I thought, I would power down and convert them to HBD, as that will give me financial freedom by providing some stable income as HBD interest. However, that would be a reality if hive price reaches a significant level (at least 2$), that would allow me to have significant number of HBD. Some analysts of our chain even predicted hive could reach 20$, and that would probably make each of us rich in this bull run, but unfortunately now no one knows, if we really will have a bull market for alt coins. However, I am still optimistic and think, we will have some magic by November. So I will probably start powering down 150k hive and have them in liquid to be prepared for any opportunity that may come our way. Given that it takes three months of power down, starting in the 1st week of August makes sense. If things do not turn out magical, then I will power up all stakes again. All these years there have been million predictions about Hive and other alt coins, but crypto being absolutely volatile, I see no clarity on the price surge, despite Bitcoin touching new heights. Though, I am not a whale on Hive, but desire to see Hive reach some reputable and significant price in the near future.

The APR in Binance was quit good, and not sure why they was doing this in the first place. I think you have made a great move. HBD seems to be quite promising , 15 % APR is still impressive in a stable coin. Not sure if hive can go that far. But if BTC will remain in the same place for a few weeks or months then the money can be shifted to the ALT,s then hive can pump for sure.

Binance was offering fantastic apr but not anymore so it's better to move hive and as you mentioned HBD so it's a great choice that pays of 15%. For now I think it's good to invest on hive because price is low looking at it's all time high and I am doing this.

Nice power up. You could also do one thing..define how much hive power you want to have lets say 180k and once that number is achieved start accumulating all the #hive as liquid. So you don't need to wait for whole power down to happen. And can take advantage early as well if opportunity strikes. Just 2cents here.. Cheers

Well, I see HBD interest as a stable income that can provide a livelihood, allowing me more freedom to do more stuffs on hive. However, it needs lots of HBD which is only possible if hive skyrockets. If nothing happens, then will power up everything and wait for the next bull run, which would probably come after 4 years.

This is how things should go on hive. The withdrawal time is too much and when the price surge user will unable to make use of it. I figured this in the last run up to $3 and since then I alwsys prefer to keeps certain amount in liquid.
