# Reality of Reliance Digital Customer Care Service ![Hisense 50 inch Ultra HD LET TV.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmPPZxXrTCrKSw3xPfNsdVySARxe3qnsvm91sTxb1sEYNL/Hisense%2050%20inch%20Ultra%20HD%20LET%20TV.jpg) Hisense launched in India yesterday and I was planning to buy a 50 inch model from Reliance Digital. Thought Hisense declared that they will lunch in Amazon / Flipkart as well, Amazon always showed them out of stock. So Reliance Digital was my choice to buy the product. The Product Price was Rs 29990/-. There was an offer going on which gives 10% instant discount (upto 1500/-) on selected cards, and When checked out the product and went to the payment page, it showed me I am eligible for the discount and the amount I should pay is Rs 28490/-. ![PAYMENT page.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmRTBZoWBVeoPH489M7umDJGLaNskjapqKCQQAnou6Y4Z7/PAYMENT%20page.png) But when I landed at my bank's payment page, it showed me that I need to authorize a payment of 29990/-. In this particular case, Reliance was charging a wrong amount to the bank, if the instant discount was a reality. If that was not the case, then it should not have shown the message saying I need to pay the discounted item. So I did not authorize the payment and instead let it fail. And then I sent a mail to their Customer Care with all the details and screen shots. And I got an automated response saying, they will respond me in 24 hours. Given that the offer was only for two days, I was suspecting the product will be out of stock soon. So I called their Customer Care - it usually takes 5 minutes before somebody picks up the call. And then when I explained the problem to them, they said they will escalate this to their Senior and I should get a call back soon. Within a span of 4-5 hours, I called them 7 times, out of which 5 times, they responded ( disconnected twice even before listening) . And each time, the response was same. That showcases how their Customer Service team is trained. ![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmZYXTMyeBhXs1epWVLmD2Y9chbEGxB7T1A7NZMYwhpv6U/image.png) I did not stop there , I went and forwarded the mail to Level-1: Head of Customer Support and the automated response was I should hear back within 10 business hours. **24 hrs gone, 10 business hrs gone - there is no response yet.** The product is now out of stock. And there is nothing I could do from my side. ### But hey, why I am writing this on hive ? Because I definitely do what I can - write a honest review of a product or service - that helps others. And I know @RelianceDigital is on twitter. So I am going to tag this to them and show them how their service is. In my opinion, Hive is a great platform for a Review dapp. But we do not need a dapp like steemhunt. Rather, we should have a dapp, that will reward the users who share their real experiences. The business houses can partner with the dapp and send their user to write a review. The User can definitely be verified with some authentication mechanisms. The dapp rewards the user where as the Business houses pay a nominal fee for the partnership ( the dapp could charge less to have more business opt for this). It will be similar to what @waivio is doing for restaurants. I mentioned the same to @grampo in some latest conversations, and may be they can consider this in future. Alternatively some other dapp can be built as well. Share your feedback if you have experienced similar frustrations. And not only that, there will be some nice examples as well. I bought a Galaxy M31s from Samsung from their Website. The experience was seamless and very satisfying. They exactly showed what they promised and executed flawless. So we can even write such reviews - if Samsung partners with the dapp and encourage their user to write a review.

Wowo that really help to spread of hive too...and a unique way to raise the concern on social platform.....such things always happen on online shopping and for that I always rely on Amazon that never do such thing...I had similar sort of experience through flipkart and myntra...

Well, this time Amazon also blew away Hisense - originally it was planned to be part of Amazon sale, but Amazon always showed the product to be not available. I have bought some other products worth 10k from Amazon - got an Amazon Pay Card - so would have easily bought there, had it been available since that also pays more than 10%. And unfortunately the sell is getting over today - so there is nothing much I can do except writing this 😀
