Mint is one plant that I wish everyone has in their garden
It’s very useful and kudos to you on the good work you are doing on your garden 

The few stems that you borrowed from mum is now something huge
You’re a great farmer indeed 

Do they need bright sunlight or they grow well in the shade with limited sunlight exposure ? 
I'm planning to plant some for the summer. How do I begin. 

That's good that you have them in individual pots like that. I once planted some mint in my back yard thinking it would be a good idea. I didn't realize it spreads so quickly and before I knew it we had it everywhere!

They were really able to grow effectively just like it was even planted to the soil. I think those individuals pots really help them to grow a lot

In fact I do believe in that, I had a jasmine that was growing, but a tenant of my grandfather touched it and a few days later it dried up, I should not have allowed it... people should not touch what is not one's own 😢 

And not only the hands of some people can damage the plants, but the important thing is that you can recover them and have them in those mini pots inside the house and thus prevent other people from taking them.

Mints grow so fast. And as you say, if you prune them they all become fuller plants. 
Besides the regular mint I also have chocolate mint (which does taste a bit different, but certainly not like chocolate 😂) and Maroccan mint (my favorite for tea).

It's winter here (western Europe), so they are dead now, but I assume the roots are still fine and they will return when it gets warmer.

That was the best idea, friend, to have them in your house and always nearby because as you say, it is not only the hands but also the time at which the Mint branches are plucked and what counts, I imagine that if the plants have a conscience and prefer to die than let other people enjoy them

Mint to mujhe bahut pasand hain and Lemon mint is my fav summer drink. bhai jofreshness lemon mint se aati hain kisi aur se nahi milti.

Yes Sir if these mint plants lack sunlight they don't grow. 
You did a fine job by placing them in sunlight.
In summer season mint become expensive...
If you will chop it well it will be enhanced..

Mint is the easiest plant to grow, even you can throw a stem and it will grow, so what we have done in our home is that we have kept it near the well so that it remains most even during summer. And as you know mint chutney is a must with ପଖାଳ.

Sir, for mint to grow fast and properly....add some fine sand(because Bhubaneshwar has a kind of red and yellow soil), that will work.

Sir, visit a nursery, and try to find a sapling that has thick leaves if you touch it u can feel it which one is thick and which one is thin. From my personal experience, thick-leaved mint has a strong aroma, even the mint powder that is available in the market is made from thick-leaved mint.

I don't believe that the plant can die from being touched by some bad hand, it's superstition. The reason why the plant dies is worrying and it seems that the plant is sensitive to touch.

Nice work done. Mint chutney and raita with daily meals keeps the stomach healthy, relieves gas, and improves the digestive system.

I like to try and grow mints. It looks quite easy and not a lot of maintenance. I shall watch some videos on YouTube !

Mint contains many minerals, so we need to consume it for our health.

Mint has grown very well. It is a perennial plant. It remains green as long as its roots are not damaged. Its green leaves grow back when cut.

I have that in my backyard too but died during summer.Definitely I will plant again. Mint tea is refreshing and flavorful beverage. I used mint when I have cold it provides temporary relief, it can clear nasal congestion.

Your techniques of managing your mint plant is nice. They are really doing well

We have peppermint, spearmint and chocolate mint from small plants when they were on clearance at the nursery. They have own and expanded so much it is almost a concern for the other plants near them. 

So easy to grow and even aggressively prune and they come back so strong even after our long winters.
