This is such a lovely recollection. I am amazed that nobody else saw it with it being so busy, but maybe it was meant to be collected by your daughter. She was wise with her decision and I think that her smiling and being happy afterwards shows that.

You are doing a great job by teaching goodness to your daughter it will be transferred to your generations as well. I think every parent should do the same thing so that their children become good persons.

This is educational. I like you telling truth, teaching children about the wisdom. Important to choose a path of honestly, humbleness and useful to society !

Catching up with what I missed during the weekend... This is such a nice story. I was smiling all along as I kept reading. You are right, your daughter is indeed a little angel. She treats all living beings (not just humans but also animals as far as I remember) with such unusual love, care and respect. Truly amazing for such a young lady. I wish more kids were like her. That would really bring some of those so much needed, positive changes to the world. You can be very proud of your daughter my friend :) Give her my best regards.

When we get something easily we don't appreciate its value and we don't feel  excited and happy because we didn't put any effort to get it. But when we work hard for something even simple, it will become  valuable for us. What mindful lessons of generosity you are passing on.  

I give my kids probably too much advice as they tend to tune me out a little.  I still try and these moments are not just a parenting win, they are a victory in karma and making the universe a billionth of a percent better.

If we can just balance the stress of hard work out without avoiding that hard work, we can care for eachother and get some stuff done!
