Oh child, the origins of the dread gazebo are much older than that. It comes from *The Tale of Eric and the Dread Gazebo* from Richard Aronson about game from sometime in the early 1970s. You can read about on the Wikipedia [here](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_and_the_Dread_Gazebo).

As a Level 1 Human with no class, I would also recommend Munchkin, especially [Munchkin Warhammer 40,000](https://munchkin.game/products/games/munchkin-warhammer-40000/).
