I have an old photo, at the time I was a volunteer at a local dog shelter.
I couldn't have puppies at home, so I went to the shelter every day.
I fell in love with this furry dog, her name is Balú like the bear from "the jungle book"
The dog was adopted and one day I went to visit her at her new home. It was a moving and beautiful moment.
Today I decided to make an illustration from that photograph. I used it as a reference, but the character is male.

Me enamoré de esta perrita peluda, su nombre es Balú como el oso de "el libro de la selva"
La perra fue adoptada y un día fui a visitarla a su nuevo hogar. Fue un momento conmovedor y hermoso.
Hoy decidí hacer una ilustración a partir de esa fotografía. La usé como referencia, pero el personaje es masculino.

I used my brown paper notebook, watercolors, pen and white acrylic paint.
