Notes For James

riding along in your car
with a head full of shrooms
I told you to ask me anything

my mind is wide open
I can access anything
I think I said

you asked about the death
I recited the bible (I guess)
because I ended it with

*ashes to ashes, 
dust to dust*

And these words are spoken 
as I have thought them, 
but not by my mouth 

It causes me to hesitate 
I then consider who
lives in my skin
who speaks to my mind

you told me to write that down
I didn't have the heart to tell you then
that it was written down in the bible

but don't forget the truth
that are in those words

that it will help 
every atom in your
body break down and 
go back to the source

death is death, 
and life is life

we don't know shit
but at least
we know this
