After several days in Cancun, I reached a point where I felt depressed again. But who could feel depressed in this paradise? Perhaps you will wonder, and it seems almost impossible to imagine it. The thing is that just a few days ago I lost my job, besides I'm at an age where I'm a long way from retirement and at the same time it's hard to find a job because of my age. 53 years old and with completely silver hair, this is going to be difficult, especially if I need a managerial position since everywhere they prefer younger people for these positions. I may even have to change careers after more than thirty years as a prepress specialist.



>Después de varios días en Cancún, llegué a un momento en que de nuevo me sentí deprimido. Pero quién podría sentirse deprimido en este paraíso? Tal vez se preguntarán, y es que parece casi imposible imaginarlo. El asunto es que hace apenas unos días perdí mi trabajo y estoy en una edad en la que falta mucho para jubilarme y al mismo tiempo es difícil encontrar trabajo por la edad. 53 años y con el cabello completamente plateado, esto va ser difícil, sobre todo si necesito un puesto gerencial o directivo ya en todas partes prefieren personas más jóvenes para eso puestos. Tal vez hasta tenga que cambiar de giro después de más de treinta años como especialista en preprensa.

But enough of regrets, it's time to put my feet on the ground and stop thinking about calamities. Because, after all, I have a lot of experience in the field of graphic arts production. It's a matter of sitting down for a while to write down everything I can do to improve a product, all those values, attitudes and knowledge that make me worthy of a position in a printing press or newspaper.

In addition, with everything I have done in Hive, I have been able to develop some other qualities, such as a taste for writing, photography and painting, and although I know that these are skills that I need to polish, now I have the time to try.

>Pero basta de lamentaciones, es tiempo de poner los pies en la tierra y dejar de pensar en calamidades. Porque, después de todo, tengo mucha experiencia en el ámbito de producción de las artes gráficas. Es cuestión de sentarme un rato para escribír todo aquello que puedo hacer para mejorar un producto, todos aquellos valores, actitudes y conocimientos que me hacen digno de un puesto de trabajo en alguna imprenta o periodico.

>Además con todo lo que he hecho en Hive he podido desarrollar algunas otras cualidades, cómo el gusto por la escritura, la fotografía y la pintura, y aunque se que son habilidades que me hace falta pulir, ahora tengo el tiempo para intentarlo.
