Recuerdos de Purísima del Rincón / Remembering Purísima del Rincón

Caminando por la plaza de Purísima del Rincón
La muchedumbre se congregaba,
alegres esperaban a escuchar las historias  del pueblo

Pasó el tiempo, los árboles crecieron mas de lo esperado,
la humedad cubrió de verde los ásperos árboles
mientras la voz del anciano se fue acabado.

Hoy parece que el tronco grueso replica las manos
de aquellas que recitaron poesía bajo su sombra.

Hoy parece que de esta humedad renace cada día
los bríos, la alegría y la esperanza de saludar al cielo.

Su pequeña fuente alberga la vida
y tiñe de nuevo de sonrisas
a los visitantes que aguarda ansiosos
que empiece la judea
mientras escuchan canciones en su kiosco...

Walking through the square of Purisima del Rincon
the crowd gathered 
 happily waiting to hear their stories

Time passed, the trees grew more than expected,
the damp covered the rough trees with green
while the old man’s voice was finished.

Today it seems that the thick trunk replicates the hands
of those who recited poetry under his shadow.

Today it seems that this humidity is reborn every day
the spirit, the joy and the hope to greet the sky.

His little fountain houses life
and smiles again
to the visitors who eagerly await
let the judea begin
while listening to songs on their kiosk ...
