Sometimes you just read about something that brings a huge smile on your face. NASA astronauts returning to Earth and making prank calls to pass the time has to be one of those things.

If you didn't already know, more than two months ago, SpaceX launched two astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) from American soil after a long, long time. It actually became the first private company to do so.

The astronauts were launched in the Dragon Capsule on top of a Falcon 9 rocket. It successfully rendezvous with the ISS and since then, Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley have spent their time in the space station.

After 62 days, they have finally returned to Earth. This was actually the more dangerous part of the mission and everyone was hoping for a safe return. Elon Musk, in particular, was really looking forward to it as it would mean that they have succeeded in designing a spacecraft to ferry astronauts to and from space.

# Making Prank Calls

Returning to Earth from the ISS takes hours. And there is nothing for the astronauts to do during this time. So, Bob and Doug had an interesting idea to prank call people from space!

Upon their return, Doug actually said, "Five hours ago we were bobbing around in a spacecraft making prank satellite phone calls to whoever we could get ahold of". Some of these people were NASA employees and they posted about it on their Twitter.

The astronauts described their descent as a rollercoaster ride and so, it only makes sense to do things to take their minds off of it. Making prank calls definitely tops the list in my books!

Also, jokingly, the astronauts said that the phone bill should be sent to Elon Musk!
