It seems like everyone these days is trying to make themself rich.
You see it in the way that some 'Entreprenuers' are held in such high regard.
Some of those folk that I know about and I know some of their backstory, basically just made themselves wealthy at the expense of others. They didn't create good businesses because none of their businesses still exist.

To me we should all be aiming for sustainability.
That is success in my books. I'd rather build something that can last forever than be like all the current crop of folk jumping onto the Crypto bandwagon trying to make a fast buck. They'll all get burned and unfortunately tarnish things for the rest of us.

I totally agree with the parrallels with a tree. You need to plant the seeds, water them, nurture the saplings until they are strong enough to stand on their own.
Like the saying goes. "the best time to plant a tree was yesterday. the next best is today"

Totally feel you on this--I am trying to start my Steemit blog up and feel like I am missing something, all the time! Any advice for a new user?

@sauravrungta. Although technology has made it easy for us in this age, we should not be so dependent on it so much that we lose our human values and identities. Living life on the fast lane makes us lose out on the beauty and pleasures that life has to offer and almost always ends in a  crash,like a fast car going well past sensible speed limits.We should appreciate the bumps, the pot-holes, the smooth road cos we will either arrive at our destination in one piece or in pieces, so is the road to success.

Well said. I often had arguments with one of my best friends which instead of focusing on his career, waste his time in hope for a sudden miracle and he would be successful or richer better to say. 
Like hard work always show results and people reap what they had harvested, similarly success is a gradual process of giving your input with each passing day and you'll become closer to your success.

This is a very good post and it’s really true. I am a Christian and I have faith in God but I would agree to every word that @sauravrungta said. I also believe that success takes time and you really have to do everything you can as you wait, not just waiting but doing something as you wait not doing NOTHING but doing EVERYTHING while WAITING. :-)

Excellent, this reminds me of some research that was conducted at my alma matter into what it truly means to be an "expert" and after exhaustive research they determined that to be an expert at anything what that meant was that you have at least 10 years doing that thing. Think about that the next time someone proclaims themselves or someone else to be a "cryptocurrency expert" or an "expert" on any other topic.

i don't know what success looks like, I've never experienced success, having a go this year though one more time.

You could barely be making it for 2 years and then one day you get your big chance. Nothing ever goes as planned, I'm a business owner myself. It's a numbers game.

I agree!  Success is slow and steady, and the issue is that so many of the younger generations want instant gratification, but it doesn't always happen like that.  It takes a lot of commitment and determination, which is why I recommend a strong support group when you're going through something like that.
