Is Gold a good investment?

The price of gold is shooting up. It is still the bear phase in the crypto world as all of us crypto enthusiasts know. Sigh. Well, there are benefits to hodlers during the bear market, of course. Now is the time to accumulate more crypto, especially hive.

Buying gold is a good thing but many people complain that it is a stagnant investment. Please do tell me how is BTC better because BTC is also similar and because of the fees, would anybody use BTC to buy a pizza nowadays? In that case, Hive is far better and more beneficial because Hive not only has zero fees (excuse resource credits) but also is partnered with so many successful projects such as splinterlands, BRO, Leo, and Neoxian, and still there are more to come.

Well, gold is an asset and can be held in the hand with the trust that the price will not crash the next morning. So, it is kind of stagnant but it can be bought with the money that you do not need immediately and even if you do need money you can pawn or sell it, of course, no one ever heard anybody selling gold for a lower price than the one bought.

So, what do you feel about gold, and have you bought some for yourself?
What about silver?

Both Gold and Silver are worth buying in my opinion, not that it matters. At least it gives a sense of reassurance that you have some amount of wealth that can be used just in case you have no other option.

Did you know that gold is sold differently in different countries?
For example, in my state, Gold is now sold as 916 gold.
916 denotes 22k gold and is the best for making fine jewels. It is the purest form of gold meant for making jewels because jewels do need other metals as well.

Today, it will cost 40,000 Rupees to buy eight grams of gold also known as one 'pavan' in Malayalam.

If you decide to buy gold, make sure that it has a seal of quality like the BIS Hallmark of India. Likewise, other countries may have such seals too.

If you consider gold or silver as an unnecessary investment, please think twice because it is always wise to invest at least a small of money rather than some unknown ico's. Having read people's rants about losing money in scams, I feel it is time people took to being practical and invested their hard-earned money in genuine projects that will never fail like our own Hive and gold. That being said, diamond is a no-no as it does not have a better resale value when compared to pure gold.
