Hola, amigos, la temática de esta semana es muy especial, ya que nos invita a traer al evento alguna canción de alguna "Comedia Musical", esas donde no solo se habla sino también se canta (y mucho). Nuestra Artista Destacada @nancybmp  nos propone esta original temática. Comunmente la comedia musical es de contenido humorístico, aunque "West Side Story" (Amor sin Barreras) fue mas bien dramática.

Me permito compartir con ustedes una breve lista de mis comedias musicales favoritas: "La Novicia Rebelde" con Julie Andrew, una comedia con unas canciones espectaculares, una bella moraleja y, además, basada en hechos de la vida real, inspirada en la familia Von Trapp. Me gustó mucho la música de "Vaselina" (Grease) con Olivia Newton Jones y John Travolta. Los que peinamos canas no podemos olvidar "Cantando bajo la lluvia".
Así que mi Top 4 particular se encuentra  integrado por:

Y si la [ Comedia Musical](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comedia_musical)  puede ser en dibujos animados, mi lista será entonces Top 5 para poder agregar [Fantasía ](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantas%C3%ADa_(pel%C3%ADcula)) de Disney con toda su maravillosa música.

  <i>Allow me to share with you a short list of my favorite musical comedies: "La Novicia Rebelde" with Julie Andrew, a comedy with spectacular songs, a beautiful moral and, also, based on real life events, inspired by the Von family Trapp. I really liked the music of "Grease" with Olivia Newton Jones and John Travolta. Por mi parte les traigo una canción original que mezcla la música con la denuncia, el humor y la ironía. Se trata de "Venezuela Siglo XXI", canción que compuse durante unos años muy fuertes para nuestro país, años en los cuales "se pasó hambre parejo", el gas para cocinar dejó de distribuirse. En el medio rural solventamos cortando ramas y utilizando leña para cocinar. En el medio urbano la situación era más dificil. Debían comprar carbón industrializado ue es muycostoso o apelar al uso de cocinas eléctricas, solución esta última que era bastante limitante debido a los frecuentes y largos apagones.

It is about "Venezuela Siglo XXI", a song that I composed during some very strong years for our country, years in which "everybody went hungry even", cooking gas stopped being distributed. In rural areas we make ends meet by cutting branches and using firewood for cooking. In the urban environment the situation was more difficult. They had to buy industrialized coal, which is very expensive, or resort to the use of electric stoves, the latter solution being quite limiting due to the frequent and long blackouts.</i>

En esa época desapareció también la harina de maiz precocida y volvimos al pasado de nuevo comprando maiz para cocinarlo, molerlo  y amasar las arepas, parte fundamental de nuestra alimentación. Se compraba el maíz "en concha" - más económico - o el "maiz trillado" (el que menciono en la canción) al cual previamente se le había desprendido la concha con medios mecánicos.
Aunque yo pensaba que para esta época viviríamos como "Los Supersónicos", en realidad,
Venezuela ha retrocedido y en muchas cosas nos parecemos a la forma de vivir a Vilma y Pedro, populares personajes de "The Flinstones" (Los Picapiedras)

  <i>At that time, precooked cornmeal also disappeared and we went back in time again buying corn to cook, grind and knead the arepas, a fundamental part of our diet. Corn was bought "in the shell" - cheaper - or "threshed corn" (the one I mention in the song) from which the shell had previously been detached by mechanical means.
Although I thought that by this time we would live as "The Jetsons", in reality,
Venezuela has regressed and in many ways we resemble the way of living Vilma and Pedro, popular characters from "The Flinstones" (Los Picapiedras).

Querida amiga @nancybmo, sinceramente, soy un verdadero desastre cocinando con leña. Eso me tiznaba desde la coronilla hasta la punta del pie. Una vez que cociné con extremo cuidado, después del obligado período de espera "para evitar un pasmo" cuando me fui a duchar me encontré con que, al quitarme la blusa no tiznada, tenía la panza negriiita... ¿Cómo se me ensució? ¿Cómo el tizne atravesó la tela sin tocarla? I just love the fact that your pattern of music(choice of song)is not one i do come across as often which shows how unique it is. From the pattern to the pace to the tune composition and then to the used of the uncommon instrument(the drum). Its just so great to listen to music from other parts of the world.

Toda mi familia siempre ha cortado leña en el campo, pero cuando la situación estuvo super critica en el pais se cortaba aun mas!
