Bitcoin Clears Prior Top And Eyes 10K - While Alt Coins Push Through Resistance Levels

The positive price momentum continues in the crypto market as we are seeing many big names close above prior highs or resistance levels.

## The Bitcoin Bump

Granted many of the alt coins started moving before bitcoin over the past couple weeks, but BTC catching a bid has definitely helped keep the momentum going in the market.

BTC closed above 9,200, which was the prior high, clearing the way for a run at 10k.  Though there could be a hurdle on the way, which I detail in the below video.

## ETH Rips

Ethereum ripped right through that prior support level of 680.  Usually prior support levels become resistance levels.  ETH was having none of that!  

Ideally it will use that level as a floor again letting us target that prior top of 870 as the next upside.  Only time will tell, but a little consolidating action here would be welcome and constructive.

Yes, we have had some positive price action over the last couple weeks.  However, there is much work to do still after a 4 month long decline.  Getting above 10K is first step, then we need to establish 11.5K to have upside potential for the all time highs.

First order of business is maintaining 9k on this pullback.  If we do not then we likely visit low 8ks again.

P.S. - did you not vote on my post and just on your comment?  That's kinda rough man, but too each their own I suppose.

It’s almost there! I won’t buy we are going back to 20K until we see it hold above 10K for a few weeks but we def are a long way from the 6K bottom that I likely was wrong about it taking longer to bounce back. We shall see

Yeah, need to get established above 10K before we can even talk about 20k.  Hell , we need to breach that 11.5K level first too.  Much work to be done.

I think the main target for BTC will be the need to break the 200 DMA as it could be seen as resistance and a failure to break or consolidating under it will force traders to sell the recent bounce for profit taking which could lead to a sell-off.  More people are nervous now when it starts to fall given the recent declines.  However, FUD has been tamed and more good news fundamentally could continue the FOMO.
