Hello dear people of Hive! Thank you for your interest in my post. I introduce myself, I'm Scarleth (user scarletcorner) and it's my first time participating in the Cinnamon Cup Coffee community. A pleasure to participate, I hope you like my writing.

I have always been afraid of the dark, so much so that sometimes I sleep with the light on to avoid any mishap.

My fear happened while I was sleeping. I was in a kind of sleep paralysis, and at that moment, something strange approached me with signs of touching me and joining me. 

I could never understand what it was, but I have a feeling of what caused it. My 
my dejection and negativity has attracted the reflection of my negative emotions, and it is about to position itself in front of me, to snatch my life away and replace me. 

To fight against this, coffee has been my greatest ally. In uncertainty of my senses, it is the only one that can place me in the awakening of my being, to avoid being swallowed.

I cannot leave it, nor can I forget it, because if at any moment I do, the reflection of my thoughts could appear again.
I have to do it, I have to make it, an espresso... or iced coffee... I just need to.... "crash!". An unheard sound was heard. I can't believe it, it's coming for me.... 
I can't believe it... I'm going to die. 

I knelt down in despair, began to cry and beg for my life. 
I proceeded to close my eyes... and I couldn't help but think that, that shadow has taken a big part of my life, and from the darkest spot in my room, I felt it taking part of me.

Excellent stories of paranormal events that can trap and absorb us while we sleep. I know it's fiction but with a touch of posological reality. I know what it's like to live for sleep paralysis, it's terrifying and a situation you wouldn't wish on anyone. Good for your story. Congratulations and good luck @scarletcorner ✨
