Since joing the community I have made a conscious decision to dedicate time to posting and curating great content on SteemIT. I decided to support some fledgling projects such as #teamaustralia and #minnowsupportproject and have even signed up for @papa-pepper's newest challenge to represent #teamaustralia.

Yesterday, I jumped feet first into supporting the #minnowsupportproject and joined the curation trail to support other minnows. I was pretty pumped that a minnow like me could have their post added to the wiki along side huge supporters such as @ausbitbank, @roelandp and @theprophet0. Spreading the word about our community.

I am looking forward to the competition, but alas, I cannot go due to work and other commitments. However, I am planning on entering anyway and spending some quality time on producing a post worthy of the win. If I were to win, I plan to donate this to another minnow who has the passion and drive and contributes and supports the #minnowsupportproject community too.

# SteemFest 2
So what is SteemFest 2? SteemFest will be held over 3 days in Lisbon, Portugal. From 1-3 November, 2017, delegates will immerse themselves in talks, panels, workshops and lots of fun.
