Lol. Had never thought about the comfort factor before, but you're totally right. The only thing that concerns me about this particular stool is there doesn't appear to be anything to grab onto if she slips, or hits turbulence.

It's easier to get out through the chimney with a broom and you clean your chimney on the way out! ;)

Cool illustration. A chair makes much more sense than a broom. Maybe the flying broom is something men came up with from imagining a hobby horse out of a broom. And, maybe it included the idea that the only fitting utensil for a woman would be a maid’s broom.

There was a bad 90s sitcom where there was a young witch that flew around on a vacuum cleaner XD

At a wild guess if they're imbuing magic into something to give it anti-gravitational/"flight" power then a broom would probably be easier because it's small and easier to leave around unobtrusively (not too many people might notice a broom especially if it's shoved into some hedge or something, chairs etc might look a little bit out of place in the middle of a forest XD).

Chair would definitely be more comfortable and I reckon unless magicking it was too hard she totally should have gone couch or bed and just had a spot of tea and a book while waiting to get to her destination in business class ;D

She is lovely. I actually wear a witch hat often when hiking... Guess it strikes as odd to other hikers lol. And now seriously I have a friend that makes traditional brooms, they look amazing.  No, I have never flown on one of those, just in dreams and imagination.
