Horse Box Coffee Bliss

# Hail to the Hive!

While we were in the Philippines running the dive shop we had a guest named George that was stuck in our town due to the whole covid lockdown scenario. He was also a diving instructor and when circumstances allowed us tomre open he did a spot of diving with us. Upon his return to the UK he set about converting a horse trilerminto a coffee shop. That’s right a horse trailer. Yup, into a coffee shop.

As luck would have it he managed to get a pitch for his mobile liquid black gold sales wagon right on the side of a canal junction in Braunston. We just had to go and now that we are mobile again this was our first destination. You can see our litlle Badger the Narrowboat in the background. What a great location as it is right at a waterpoint for filling the boat full of fresh water, perfect!

I really like how he’s stylishly converted the horse trailer into this superb mobile coffee shop. Very tastefully done.

Now as a rule I am a black coffee man with the occasional cappuccino if the mood takes me but George was eager to show me all the range so I got properly spoiled with dirty chai lattes, hot chocwithncinger and marshmallows, cappuccinos and well everything really, chocolate cake and backn rolls. I really got spoiled.

The best part about it is we are moored 20 mins walk away tonight so I will be taking a stripoll down in the morning to get spoiled again. I reckon just black coffee tomorrow though. Too much sweet and sugar today.

Hello @scubahead, what a delightful coffee wagon, and great photos too! 
So elegant, and I think the black exterior and wooden interior works well. It's so attractive and inviting. I particularly like the clock on the wall too :)
A coffee wagon by the water refill station and chandlery is an awesome idea. 

Did your moustache and beard get in the way of drinking that hot chocolate with pyramid marshmallows, or did the hot chocolate just add flavour and decorate both?
  
I really like this idea of a coffee stop by the canals, as it gives gongoozlers a chance to sip coffee with a bacon roll as they watch and wave to boaters cruising by.
Clever concept; I'm sure more persons will catch on and there'll be more options like this one along the canals soon.

That is a brilliant idea and perfectly executed. The design is absolute class. Too many projects and great ideas are spoilt by poor execution but this looks like a top-notch, no expense spared piece of craftsmanship.
Five quid for a bacon bap and coffee? Damn, I've been away too long. I'm in for a shock when I finally get home for Christmas!
