DigiByte shot out like a Rocket Saturday and then cooled its jets late Saturday and into early Sunday. This may be a good chance for people considering purchasing the coin to get in amidst the hype. We'll see what Monday has in store as it is a holiday in other parts of the world outside of the US. How did DigiByte become one of the top three traded crypto coins on the market nearly over night? Let's have a look.

Minecraft Launch

DigiByte will have their own Minecraft server this week which is timed very well with the launch of the Minecraft Marketplace. Be advised that the two are not directly related.

Meme Contest

Apparently, brand recognition has a lot to do with what is going on. I'm not familiar with this, but you go search DigiByte on Reddit if you would like to learn more or just see for your self.

CitiBank

Now for the real news. This is probably more important than the two previously mentioned reasons for the big drive combined. On June 9, 2017, DigiByte  will make a presentation for Citibank. This will take place at one of several Citibank  Tech For Integrity Challenge (T4I) events. Other presenters and partners include IBM, Microsoft, Facebook, LTP, PWC, Clifford Chance, and MasterCard.
