Wow, such a great post. Thanks for sharing your story. It is always helpful to read about the way that Steemians went. It helps the reader to learn from others' experiences. That's why engaging with the Steemit platform is the great thing that newbie can to here. It's mostly pennies when we start but it doesn't have to discourage us. There are lots of other things here which are way important than money. I realized this as well at the begining I was also fascinated how much money I could make here. Well, I made few of them but I became better person. I am able to write and talk about anything I like and also learned so much more here. I also relented when @valchiz first told me about steemit in August but when he told me the second time in September, I didn't think twice and now here I am. 

I believe steemit is indeed the future and a bright one for that matter!
