As a Splinterlands player I've been keeping a close eye on the reward cards for each season. Looking at the numbers for the last season and the current season, it's interesting to compare the quantity and rarity of the cards.

Last season, there were a total of 192 standard foil reward cards, with 135 of them being common, 42 rare, 10 epic, and 5 legendary. This season, there are a total of 238 standard foil reward cards, with 186 of them being common, 46 rare, 6 epic, and 0 legendary.

At first glance, it appears that the current season has a higher quantity of standard foil reward cards compared to the last season. However, the number of legendary cards for this season is zero, which is a significant difference. Legendary cards are the rarest and most valuable cards in the game, and their absence from the standard foil reward cards for this season is rather disappointing especially since I have opened Champion rewards chests for the season and some daily.

Another interesting point to note is that the last season had a higher number of epic cards than the current season, which may also impact their value in the long run. However, the current season has more common and rare cards, which could potentially increase their overall value as they are more widely available and in demand for building decks.

If we take a look at the gold-foil reward cards we can clearly see that this season was very disappointing. I only got 3 common gold foil reward cards and last season it was 11 rare gold foil cards.

Overall, it's difficult to predict the exact value of standard foil reward cards for each season, as it is determined by supply and demand in the market and we don't know what the value for the soul-bound reward cards would be. However, looking at the quantity and rarity of the cards for each season can provide some insights into their potential value.

As a Splinterlands player and investor, I like to keep track of the performance of my rental cards. Rental cards are a great way to earn passive income by allowing other players to use your cards in battles for a fee. Here, I will compare and analyze the rental performance of my cards from last season and this season.

Last season, my rentals brought in a revenue of 4426.496 DEC. However, I also had expenses of 1327.523 DEC, which included fees charged by Splinterlands. Therefore, my net profit for the season was 3098.973 DEC.

This season, I am happy to report that my rental performance has improved significantly. I earned a revenue of 7245.684 DEC, which is an increase of over 60% compared to last season. Meanwhile, my expenses have decreased slightly to 1175.136 DEC. After accounting for cancellation refunds, my net profit for this season is an impressive 6076.246 DEC.

It's clear that my rental cards have performed much better this season. The increase in revenue can be attributed to several factors. For one, I have managed my rentals much more carefully than last season, which resulted in higher rental fees. Additionally, the overall rental cost of Splinterlands cards has grown, potentially due to introduction of 1 DEC listing fee and same for price updates, those rental bots would become very unprofitable for anything that rents for less than 2+ 
 DEC per card.

On the expense side, it's good to see that the fees charged by Splinterlands have not increased significantly. In fact, in my case they have decreased slightly due to a more careful rental management, which has helped to boost my net profit.

Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of my rental cards this season. The increase in revenue and decrease in expenses has resulted in a net profit that is more than double what I earned last season. This performance reinforces my belief that rental cards are a great way to earn passive income in Splinterlands.

Last season, I earned a total of 1,621.220 SPS tokens. The majority of my earnings came from liquidity rewards, with a total of 454.251 SPS earned from providing liquidity to the SPS/DEC pool. In addition, I earned 296.137 SPS from staking rewards, 408.741 SPS from ranked rewards, 147.541 SPS from brawl rewards, and 295.502 SPS from license stake rewards. I also received 80.025 Voucher drops.

This season, my SPS earnings have increased significantly. I earned a total of 1,822.292 SPS, with the majority of my earnings coming from ranked rewards, which amounted to 562.044 SPS. I also earned 521.031 SPS from liquidity rewards, 324.107 SPS from staking rewards, 292.810 SPS from license stake rewards, and 103.439 SPS from brawl rewards. In addition, I received 82.305 Voucher drops.

Overall, my SPS earnings this season have increased by about 201.072 SPS, which is a significant improvement from the previous season. The increase in my earnings is largely due to the significant increase in ranked rewards, which accounted for more than a third of my total earnings this season. 

In addition to the increase in SPS earnings, I also received a slightly higher amount of Voucher drops this season, with a total of 82.305 Vouchers compared to 80.025 Vouchers last season. This increase is not significant, but it is still a positive especially since vouchers will be used to purchase the upcoming promo card.

Overall, I am pleased with my SPS earnings this season and look forward to continuing to earn rewards in the future.
