steampunk necklace tutorial!

<p>&nbsp;Hi, guys! For this project, I decided to make a beautiful steampunk necklace. It's very simple to create.<br>
To do this, we are going to use some of these tools and materials:</p>
<p><strong>Tools:</strong></p>
<ul>
  <li>files&nbsp;</li>
  <li>hammer&nbsp;</li>
  <li>tweezers&nbsp;</li>
  <li>little bolts&nbsp;</li>
  <li>little nuts&nbsp;</li>
  <li>arc saw&nbsp;</li>
  <li>anvil&nbsp;</li>
  <li>drill</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Materials:</strong></p>
<ul>
  <li>sharpie markers&nbsp;</li>
  <li>metal sheet (i use a dvd case) &nbsp;</li>
  <li>some watch gears&nbsp;</li>
  <li>little key &nbsp;</li>
  <li>some jewerly stuff.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Step 1: Make the metal wings</h2>

<p>&nbsp;To develop the wings, use the metal sheet (dvd case). After drawing it &nbsp;with a sharpie, I started to cut it carefully with a saw arc. Once &nbsp;finished, I removed the excess of material with a file and I polished a &nbsp;little bit. But not too much! The idea is to keep a rustic and antique &nbsp;look.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Step 2: Prepare the gears</h2>

<p>&nbsp;This is step is really simple: it's just about to find some suitable &nbsp;gear in terms of shape and size and make some holes with the drill in &nbsp;necessary places. In this case, I made four holes: two for the wings, &nbsp;one to hang the small key and another on the top (the last one is &nbsp;optional).&nbsp;</p>

<p>Now you just have to &nbsp;assemble everything as you want! Don't matter how much gear, washers, &nbsp;bolts or ornaments you use. It's up to you! I really like how the two &nbsp;wings look between the two gears and the small key pendant. So, with the &nbsp;small bolts, put the wings in this place and well... let the magic &nbsp;happens. You can do all you want.</p>
