## Hello Hivers! 💪 😎 🚀  

A few days ago I had a very unpleasant experience which I think it's good to share here, especially with those who use Reddit to share their (and others) Hive posts. 
I waited a few days for things to calm down a bit because you know that hot soup needs to cool down before you put it in your mouth.

How's the story going?

I've had a Reddit account for over six years, about a month less than Hive. Funnily enough, I also opened it with the intention of sharing Hive (then Steemit) posts. But, I wasn't very active, I have to admit I found Reddit boring as a social network, I was more into posts and links there, I rarely posted anything there, mostly my own content, animations, psychedelic pictures, kaleidoscopes and the like.

All that changed about a month ago when @acidyo linked sharing Hive content on Reddit with @poshtoken. I thought it was a good idea, it works very well on Twitter, I think, and I started looking at Reddit again and sharing my (and other) Hive posts there, in groups/communities where I was active before.

Last Saturday I posted a link to my #beersaturday post in the r/beer group, and half an hour later I got a notification that I'm banned and can't post there anymore, so I can just watch. Ugh?
I went to look at the r/beer group rules again and couldn't find anything that I could even deduce what it was about.

Ok, it's not the first, probably not even the last time I've been banned somewhere, but I was really interested in the reason. And I asked a moderator. 
I'm adapting the debate here below, but you can make up your own mind.

Well, when I read the last sentence I stopped debating. 
I don't know where he gets such thoughts, and I don't want to have anything to do with people who provoke in this way...

As I understand it, I was blocked because: 
- crypto is a scam
- I was only posting links to my own content (this is not true, because I have posted other content, from the Hive network of course, that I think it'is interesting)
- my Reddit account is six years old and now I started to post my own content to drive traffic to Hive which is a scam.

I usually expect to be blocked because the content I post is not of good quality and to have someone tell me that. Since I don't think [my beer posts](https://ecency.com/hive-187719/@seckorama/beer-tasting-bergkoenig-ironik-ipa) here on Hive are that bad (if they were, nobody would even read them...), I wanted to share them there too. Maybe someone would find them interesting. 
But no, there's no content to speak of.

Don't panic, I didn't mean to cry here or to get upset about one such nonsense, I'll continue to write and publish anywhere anyway, but this kind of narrow-mindedness of some people needs to be pointed out so that it is known.

Anyway, in conclusion, I think it's worth pointing out that not all gold glitters (maybe Reddit isn't the right place to share Hive posts?), 
that (apparently) there are still people who hate the crypto scene by default and don't even want to try to understand it (hence, Reddit is full of crypto people and companies, but, seems also crypto haters...), and, 
that the links, which are actually the basis of the World Wide Web (if you ask the inventor, Tim Berners-Lee) are not wanted somewhere.
