 <p>In a study published in PLOS One, researchers found that on average, people would demand more than $ 1,000 to give up on Facebook for a year. <p>That is a very interesting study. &nbsp;There is little doubt that social media sites create enormous benefit for the users. &nbsp;There is, however, also a cost as we all know.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Looking at that, $1,000 per user gives us a good estimate what we can value the Steem ecosystem at.</p>
