Vielleicht weil man bei Systemen von Standardusern vorsichtig ist beim Löschen von Daten. Einige könnten in Panik verfallen, wenn  etwas im Downloadordner fehlt. War ja immer dort. PC defekt (hdd) oder fremdzugriff, usw...

Das ist schon richtig so.
Generell möchte ich auch keine "Intelligenz" auf Benutzer loslassen die etwas automatisiert löscht.

Schau aber mal die Aufgabenplanung durch was Windows ohne zutun des Users schon alles macht... da wird es einem schlecht.
Nur gelöscht wird eben nix.

Scheint eine brauchbare Funktion bei Windows zu sein. Mir gefällt besonders das der Download-Ordner mit einbezogen wird, der müllt sich bei mir gerne mal voll.Aber nur deshalb werde ich mir wohl kein Windows kaufen.

3.1: wie alles begann bei mir (cd Windows > Windows > Ratter Ratter > BLING BLUNG BLANG (rattern der Platte) > los gings
95: UII wie toll
98: YIHA das erste mal Formel1 auf dem PC Gespielt
ME/2000: OK LÄUFT NOCH HEUTE bei mir nie Probleme 
XP: gab es je was Besseres
7 Mit etwas gewallt Läuft es Sauber
8/8.1. was zum Teufel, wer war das 
10 ... frag besser nicht, viel zu umständlich. alles versteckt nichts ist Logisch, und das Ein zigste was ich toll daran finde ist Der Taskmanager, Sonst unbrauchbar, nichts Läuft mehr sauber darauf nur Abstürze oder Programme Lassen sich nicht zum laufen bekommen.

Ich wünsche mir NOCH IMMER eine Mischung zwischen XP und 7 und alles wäre gut

Am Besten finde ich ehrlich gesagt, dass mit Windows 10 zwei verschiedene Einstellungsprogramme existieren, die alte von Windows 7 welche nach und nach zerstört wird und die Neue welche mit ihrem Tolen Flat design nicht mehr erkennbar macht was alles eingestellt werden kann.
Mein Wunsch wäre ein Debian mit direct x und den einstellungen von win 7 :P obwohl das schon sehr nahe an win 10 ist

Eine sehr interessante Funktion, auch wenn  bei Windows + intelligent meine Nackenhaare sträuben. Auf meinem Surface Pro 4 und meinem Desktop war die Option bereits aktiviert, ich kann mich nicht erinnern, das selbst gemacht zu haben.
Auf beiden Systemen sind die Systemplatten sehr gut gefüllt, eventuell wird die Option ab einer gewissen Speicherknappheit automatisch gesetzt?

Ich glaube dass bei Windows der einzige Weg um alte Programme usw. vollkommen zu entfernen ist es Windows jedes Jahr mind. einmal neu zu installieren. Spart viel Zeitaufwand was das Deinstallieren etc. angeht.
