The time of the twelfth doctor never fully convinced. The decision to introduce a female version of the Doctor did not seem the best. Very good Jodie Whittaker but the doctor has always been identified with a specific male figure that in 50 years has almost amazed and passionate millions of people. Thinking and saying these things nowadays risks being sexist but, to make a comparison, it's as if DC comics from tomorrow decided to create a male version of Wonder Woman. There would be endless controversy. Rightly so. <BR> Arrived almost halfway through the season, however, fortunately, the story of Doctor Who is starting slowly, step by step, to become very interesting. A much more careful writing and the search for a nice horizontal plot have helped the whole TV series. The Doctor seems to be in danger as never before and above all tormented by ghosts of the past that seem to have come back to haunt him. The Master, the mystery about Gallifrey, the Cybermen and even a mysterious version of the Doctor himself that we've never seen before and that not even the Doctor himself remembers having had. <br> So much burning flesh that's literally bringing the serene back on the longest TV show ever. Fingers crossed!

L'epoca del dodicesimo dottore non ha mai convinto fino in fondo. La scelta di introdurre un Dottore in versione femminile non è sembrata la migliore. Bravissima Jodie Whittaker ma il dottore è sempre stato identificato con una specifica figura maschile che in 50 anni quasi ha meravigliato e appassionato milioni di persone. Pensare e dire queste cose al giorno d'oggi rischia di essere sessista ma, per fare un paragone, è come se la DC comics da domani decidesse di creare una versione maschile di Wonder Woman. Ci sarebbero polemiche infinite. Giustamente. <BR> Arrivati quasi a metà stagione però, fortunatamente, la storia del Doctor Who sta cominciando pian piano, step by step, a farsi molto interessante. Una scrittura molto più attenta e la ricerca di una bella trama orizzontale hanno giovato a tutta la serie tv. Il Dottore sembra essere in pericolo come non mai e soprattutto tormentato da fantasmi del passato che sembrano essere tornati a perseguitarlo. Il Master, il mistero su Gallifrey, i Cyberman e persino una versione misteriosa del Dottore stesso che mai avevamo visto prima e che nemmeno il dottore stesso ricorda di avere avuto. <br> Tantissima carne a fuoco che sta letteralmente riportando il sereno sulla serie tv più longeva di sempre. Incrociamo le dita!
