# How to Use Hive POSH to share content to Reddit and earn Hive
>**So What Is Hive POSH, and Why Should You Care?**
The term POSH stands for Proof of Sharing. It is a reward program where users get paid to share Hive posts to Reddit. Whereas POSH used to collaborate with Twitter, this has changed because Twitter has a high API fee @redditposh. primary target is Reddit, and it is a strong one.
### What Can You Earn?
By posting Hive on Reddit with POSH, you can earn:
- POSH tokens (daily)
- Hive tokens (when the POSH bot comment gets upvoted)
- Exposure of your Hive on Reddit
Even better, you do not have to share your posts exclusively. You are also able to share great contents with other Hive users.
### How to Get Started: Step-by-Step for Newbies
You only need two accounts:
- A Hive account (which you already have!)
- A Reddit account (free and quick to create if you don’t have one)
>**Here’s exactly what to do next: Let's go through the steps one after the other**
#### ✅Step 1: Register on HivePOSH.com
- Log in with Hive Keychain

>**Just created this alt account for the purpose of this tutorial @seunruth.alt**
- Go to HivePOSH.com

>**You'll need to click on the search box below and type HIVEPOSH.com**
---

---
---

---
>**Yes, I can see it too...those are the Top holders of poshToken**
- Connect your Reddit account

That’s it, your Reddit and Hive are now linked. This tells the POSH system who you are and tracks your Reddit shares.
#### ✅Step 2: Find a Post Worth Sharing
You can share:
- Your own Hive post
- Someone else’s post that you found interesting
>**Yeah, so just found this photography post from @mnurhiver And it resonates with me alot**
---

---
Posts can come from any of the front-end Peakd, Hive.blog, Ecency and Inleo....Just copy the link to the post you want to share.
#### ✅Step 3: Choose the Right Subreddit
It is so crucial. Reddit consists of numerous communities (also known as subreddits). On some you can share links, on others you can not. And others do not like non-mainstream links. It is your task to identify subreddits that:
- Allow links
- Match the content you’re sharing (e.g., r/cryptocurrency, r/solana, r/web3)
- Are not Hive-owned (unless clearly allowed like r/holozing)
- Don’t post in Hive-only subreddits like r/hivenetwork — POSH won’t count them.
You can check this [post] (https://peakd.com/subreddit/@poshtoken/hive-friendly-subreddit-list) by @poshtoken to see some friendly subreddit
#### ✅Step 4: Post the Hive Link On Reddit
So enter the selected subreddit and post something new.
>**Seunruth is always a step ahead ☺️☺️.... I'm currently Logged on reddit and taken my time to see proper Subreddit**
- Write an appealing title (Reddit will love a good title!)
---

---
- Use a couple of pertinent words to describe what it is about
- Paste the post link
---

---
Post it and bang! This part is finished.
#### ✅Step 5: Just Let the POSH Bot Do Your Job
Hive has a bot called @redditposh. It automatically searches Reddit and discovers Hive links that have been posted by registered users such as yourself. When it acquires your post, it will:
- mention it in the daily POSH earnings round up
- Credit you as the sharer
- Monitor your post performance (views, engagement, etc).
Each day, the bot will divide 50 POSH to all legitimate sharers in Reddit. The more your post gets, the more you will gain.
#### Step 6: Receive Your POSH — and More
In 7 days, your POSH will be sent right to your Hive Engine wallet.
In case, the comment that the POSH bot leaves under the post on the Hive platform is upvoted, you will receive liquid Hive as well. So, imagine earning your posh token on a daily.
## Bonus Tips for Hive Newbies
Here are some helpful tips to get more out of POSH:
#### Tip 1: Select the proper Subreddits
You should read the rules of the subreddit prior to posting. Others do not permit any sharing of links. You do not want your post deleted, or your account flagged.
In case you do not know where to begin, you can use:
- r/holozing ( temporarily permitted)
- r/web3
- r/cryptocurrency
- The r/solana (in case it is relevant)
#### Tip 2: Create Attention Grabbing Headlines
Reddit is all about titles. Not spammy, make it interesting.
Example:
Solana is booming - What I discovered on Hive today
#### Tip 3: Do not Upvote the Bot Comments Yourself
Allow other people to reward the POSH bot in case it has left a comment on your Hive post. Self upvotes is something hive frowns at so much. However when another user shares your post, you can upvote the bot comment to tip them, they will get the reward. POSH is one of the simplest and quickest methods to earn, and to be helpful to the community.
You are reading awesome stuff on Hive. Why not post it on Reddit and make money out of it? It’s:
- Easy to deploy
- It does not cost anything
- Gives you Hive And POSH Token
- Increases the exposure of Hive in Web2
# How to Use GOSH to Promote Your Hive Content Across Web2
Are you wondering how to bring more attention to your content (and Hive as a whole), then GOSH might be your new favorite tool. It’s part of the HivePosh project and it's here to help you promote your Hive-related posts across Web2 platforms like Twitter/X, Instagram, Publish 0x, and more.
Even better? You do not merely gain additional eyes on your post, you also receive Hive community support, participation and even votes from curation accounts such as OCD.
This guide will take you through what GOSH is, why it is important and how you can actually use it to market your content- step by step.
## What Is GOSH?
GOSH means Give Our Shares Help - it is a simple tag that is used in the community to ask people to engage with Web2 posts that have connections to Hive. Every time you share some Hive-related news or post on such platforms as X (Twitter), Instagram, or YouTube, you can request the Hive community to support it to be better promoted by liking, commenting, sharing, or retweeting.
It is Hive assisting Hive and it works. The mechanism is currently applied in the form of Snaps on PeakD in the HivePosh community, and it prompts individuals to manually upvote Web2 content of others.
Why manually? Since automated support through the API of Twitter was too costly. Now the magic is in real people's power.
GOSH helps you:
- Gain more reach and traction to your Hive content
- Connect on Hive and Web2
- You might get upvotes by curation accounts (such as @ocd)
- Contribute to the development of Hive by advertising it in the external world
It is not all about you, but about taking Hive to the world, jointly.
## How Does It Work?
It is literally very easy. So it is like this:
- You post about the Hive on any Web2 site (such as Twitter/X).
- You post the link of a Snap within the HivePosh community.
- You use the hashtag of #gosh to request assistance.
- Hive community views it, contributes via interaction, and can even get votes.
In case your share corresponds to the rules, you might receive a vote by the OCD curation team.
Okay, let us go step-by-step
#### ✅Step 1: Make your Web2 Post
Go to your favorite Web2 site (such as X/Twitter) and put out a Hive-related post Or search someone else's post that talk about hive. This may be:
- Tweet on your recent Hive blog
- A screenshot of your Hive income
- An article sharing the reasons why individuals should use Hive
>**I was scrolling and I stumbled on this by @rukkie**
---

---
REMINDER: Your post has to be about Hive. You don't seek help on random or personal content.
#### ✅Step 2: Clip the Link
After you have published your post on twitter, Instagram or any other platform, copy the post link. This you will apply in the next step.
#### ✅Step 3: Visit HivePosh Snaps on PeakD
- Go to
---

<center>**[Click here to directly take you to Hiveposh snaps](https://peakd.com/c/hive-197333/snaps)**</center>
---
This is the Snaps component of HivePosh community - a place to post short posts (snaps, similar to tweets and Inleo thread).
It may be thought of as a comment section to promote Web2 posts in Hive.
#### ✅Step 4: Create Your Snap with the #gosh Tag
Now you’ll create a Snap that includes:
- A short description of your post
- The #gosh tag (MANDATORY)
- The link to your Web2 post
(Optional) Add the platform name too like #gosh #twitter or #gosh #instagram
For example;
Let's go tell our Web2 besties the benefits of joining #hive blockchain. Instant engagement...... Are you ready?
#gosh #twitter
(Your hive link)

#### ✅Step 5: Be Patient
After you post your Snap other Hive members will:
- View your Web2 post
- Share, like, and comment it
- Return to your Snap and upload a screenshot that they voted on it
All the contributors can receive upvotes, as well as the sharer and the support.
#### You Can Support Others, as well
You do not need only to post your links. You may also:
- Browse other Snaps in the HivePosh group
- Choose a post of your liking
- Read it on Web2 (like, comment, share)
- Upload a snap of a screenshot of what you have done
You can also be rewarded by a vote of @ocd, provided that you make an effort, which is perceived by curators.
>**Final thought and TL/DR**

### Hive GOSH
##### What are Snaps?
Snaps are micro posts (max 280 characters) on Peakd. They are clustered into a container post, and they are a bit similar to Twitter threads in Hive.
A good number of Snaps trigger @commentrewarder, where a part of the post rewards can be given to the commentators and supporters. And even when you simply interact with other people - you can still earn your Hive and HBD.
#### Why GOSH is important
Unless you are dedicated to expanding your Hive experience, you are unlikely to take this seriously, but if you are, and wish to see Hive expand, then GOSH is one of the most convenient ways to help. You simply have to sponsor Hive-related content on the platforms that people use.
With each like, comment, and repost, you are letting the world know that it is here: “Hey Hive is here and it counts.” And you are rewarded for it.
Thanks to @acidyo for his hard work on both POSH and GOSH project.... it's been gaining serious momentum from the START.
# Conclusion
If you’re wondering what this post is all about, it’s simply a guide to help onboard and educate new users in the Hive ecosystem. This is my personal contribution to the project.
Huge thanks to @starkerz and his team for coming up with this awesome idea, and also to @ravenmus1c for the gorgeous banner—it looks amazing.
