For what seemed like an eternity, although only ended up being two months, the Coinpayments.net wallet was down for virtually on Steem and Steem Dollars. I have been thinking recently that for mainstream adoption to occur cryptos are going to have to make some changes to the way things get done. It seems like it is going to be difficult for everyday people to adopt the technology when they are having to send a string of characters that is 15-40 characters long. I am not sure if a conversion to a number or unique name will be easier or if that is even possible. I do believe that eventually most transactions, both financial and non-financial, will occur on the blockchain due to its transparency and decentralized nature, but we are still a few years away from that.
