A Lesson in Patience From an 11 Year Old.

<p>&nbsp;The little boy was left heartbroken. &nbsp;His tablet was stolen from his locker at school.</p>
<p>Who was involved really isn’t important to this story, but the how the little boy dealt with this event is the most important part. &nbsp;The boy loved his tablet very much. &nbsp;He used it to play games, to watch videos on YouTube, to communicate with his father when he wasn't with him, and to do his schoolwork.</p>
<p>He was told that his tablet would be replaced once a good deal was found. &nbsp;The fact that his birthday and Christmas was coming up made it a little easier to hold off for a bit, but his parents knew that they wouldn’t be able to wait long. &nbsp;He would miss his tablet and become impatient.</p>
<p>The thing is though, that he didn’t become impatient. &nbsp;At least not outwardly. &nbsp;Sure, he wanted his tablet back, or a new tablet, but he barely mentioned it. &nbsp;He trusted that it would be taken care of one way or another and that when the time was right, he would have his tablet back either in the form of his own tablet or a new one.</p>
<p>Nobody thought that there was any chance of his own tablet being found, which would be the ideal outcome, but there was always hope that the investigation carried out by the school would prove fruitful. &nbsp;Still, the little boy waited patiently and with little complaint.</p>
<p>Then one day the school contacted the little boy’s Mother. &nbsp;The tablet had been turned into the office at the school. &nbsp;Miracle of miracles! &nbsp;The little boy showed up at his Father’s house after school with a big smile and exclaimed that his tablet had been found.</p>
<p>The father was happy for his little boy. &nbsp;But mostly he was proud of him. &nbsp;There were plenty of tears when the tablet was stolen, &nbsp;That was understandable, but there was also plenty of patience and maturity from the boy. &nbsp;His dad was happy that he had his tablet back, most of all because the little boy deserved to have it back, and deserved to have good things happen to him.</p>
<p>The reason I tell you this story is because that little boy is my son, and as a father, I could not be more proud of him every day. &nbsp;He has his challenges, but he is a smart,mature, thoughtful, and kind young man. &nbsp;This tablet episode just made it that much more evident.</p>
<p>He is a boy that any parent would be proud of.</p>

An amazing story. Thank you for sharing the experience of your son. It reminded me very much of my boys when they were younger. I have to believe good things happen for people who do good deed. :)
