hiveblocksI've been playing around with some AI image generation recently. My intended use is for coloring pages but as I learn why not have some fun.
I have access to two AI generators. MidJourney and the bot, Arty, from @ausbitbank that can be found in his discord server.
Here's the prompt I used to generate the images:

Glad you gave it a go :) > Midjourney generates four possible results and then you can select any or all to generate more possible results. Fyi arty can do up to 10 images in a batch (use the "number" option), and you can then tweak and get variations etc to drive your composition closer to what you want. I had a quick look and it seemed like you only did the 1 attempt with this prompt.. I did 20 images with the same prompt and saw a lot of blending of ideas, I think theres too many subjects in this prompt to get it right first attempt with default settings. In your result it looks like it merged the concepts of cat and salmon together for example. Best results from my initial test with the same prompt are these, dissapointgly glitchy but fixable by using the variations feature to "jiggle" the composition slightly   Part of the process is parsing the text prompt and then converting and expanding those words into collections of general concepts to then compose a picture out of. It understands Cat+Fisherman+Salmon+fishing rod but no real understanding of how they relate to each other, how to hold a rod, how the line should sit related to the rod or the fish etc.. Its a mess, but through some miracle it really does work some % of the time. The art is in tweaking the prompt and settings to raise that %.. Eg reducing prompt to `anthro calico cat standing holding fishing rod, weta pixar`  To really nail the full prompt I think you'd need to use inpainting or photoshop different versions together so you can break the prompt down into single elements. Or keep rerolling and get lucky :P
