Back in the days people used to search on the newspaper or ask friends and families but now, it's all automated you can apply to several jobs using apps such as LinkedIn. With that said your resume must be unique to stand out. Here are some tips to land the perfect job. LinkedIn nowadays is a great source to grab interview opportunities as companies has moved from traditional job advertising in newspapers etc. So i am listing down few points which may help job seekers. 1. set a descent profile picture on LinkedIn profile unlike Facebook and other social media display pictures. No sides look etc. 2. Complete your profile by listing your educational degrees details and professional experiences. 3. Try to explain your job role/duties in the description so that recruiter can clear idea about you. Above steps will make your profile complete. But the main thing is how you will find jobs related to your profession. For that do some research regarding companies. For example if you’re Software Engineer search “top software companies in Pakistan “ on google and you will find list of companies. Copy the name of company search it on linked you will find official page follow it for future job Posts . Sharing your resume/ cv or profile directly to HR brighter your chances to get an interview/Test call. So from official company page find employee list and look for HR and then send him/her connection request with a note that you’re looking for XYZ role so that they may not hesitate to add you in theirs connections (specially female HR). Once you’re added send them short message mentioning your overall experience in the field you’re interested. don’t forget to attach your resume. Once you’re done with this applying process start preparing for the interviews.
