In one direction, you begin with the steam train, while in the other direction, you begin with the #steamboat S/S Mariefred. Taxinge Slott is a must-see in Taxinge. There's a nice selection of pastries and sandwiches, as well as artwork for sale, a lovely park next to the castle, and a little beach near the steamboat jetty.  You can also get off the train for shopping at the local discount #store, which is around 50 meters away from the station.  Cries and Whispers, an Ingma Bergman film, was shot in and around the Taxinge Näsby castle, and Hela Sverige bakar has been recorded here since 2010s. Taxinge Slott.   > The mind is like water. No artificial ingredients or semi-manufactured products as far as the taste buds can savour. What do you think about exciting names like Treasure Chest, Gemmy or Almond Flower? There are about 60 different kinds, from Sacher torte to carrot cake. Big feast for both eyes and stomach.       It was a lot of fun to discover the church of Mariefred, which was completed in 1624. The church has a one-of-a-kind collection of oil paintings.
