Power comes from inner peace [Original work]

Today I´d like to share with you one of my favorite animal shots. I´m looking often at this photograph as I find  it energetic and calming at the same time. While the body of this elegant female snow leopard seems to be deeply relaxed, her mind is alert and scanning the environment with great attention. Ready to unleash her immense strength in a heartbeat if necessary. "Power comes from inner peace" is the motto that comes to my mind, when I look at this beautiful big cat.

Thank you for your upvote! And yes, I would love to observe these animals in their natural environment. What I can say about this zoo in Basel ist that they the do their best possible in providing a species-appropriate environment. But I agree, for big mammalians it can never be entirely adequate.
