## Welcome all Hivers to the first update of the LMAC Summer Special!

**The contributions keep coming and our [new LMAC Image Library (LIL)](https://peakd.com/hive-174695/@shaka/the-lmac-summer-special-lets-build-the-lmac-image-library) is growing day by day!** If we can keep this momentum our library will contain well over a 1000 images before the LMAC contest resumes in September! Thank you all for supporting this initiative! The LIL will bring the LMACsphere to a whole new level. By the community, for the community! 💪

**If you haven't participated yet, now is the time to do so!** If you have a phone with a camera you are already perfectly equipped to give it a go. 📸

A growing LMAC Image Library will require automated solutions for both, adding and finding entries. To facilitate this **we require that future contributions to the LIL are made using the following markdown format:**

Given the nature of a few contributions we deemed it necessary to extend our guidance on what to avoid when submitting images to the LIL.

- Do not submit photographs, images, or artworks depicting objects that cannot be seen from public ground, e.g.
    - Sculptures standing in private areas
    - Artworks from non-permanent installations
    - Museum items
    - Photographs from the inside of non-public sites and buildings


Given the complex nature of copyright regulations, we cannot provide any legal advice, especially since laws differ from jurisdictions to jurisdiction across the global LMAC community. It is therefore in every contributor's responsiblity to consult and adhere to their country-specific regulations. By contributing to the LIL, the contributor confirms that every photograph, image or artwork submitted is in their sole ownership and that it can be shared freely and used commercially without any attributions, according to your country-specific regulations.
