Oops I Did It Again - 750 DEC Quest Potion Purchase

So I did it again and bought another Quest Potion for 750 DEC for today's daily quest in the hopes of getting a  legendary or GF reward card. I know it's been a horribly overpriced potion ever since the ability to purchase with credits was taken away, but I just can't help trying my luck. Let's take a look at what I opened up:

## Sept. 14 Daily Quest Chests

Pelacor Mercenary: $0.76
Exploding Rats: $2.80
Pelacor Bandit: $0.71
Venari Heatsmith (2): $0.31 total
Harvester: $0.17
Legendary Potion: $0.04

Total Value: $4.79

Cost of Quest Potion: $4.21 (750 DEC)

**Difference: +$0.58**

I just barely received more value than the cost of the Quest Potion this time. [Compare that to yesterday](https://ecency.com/splinterlands/@shauner/worth-it-i-spent-750) where my chests were worth $2.66 more at the time of opening. I will note that reward card prices have dropped even further since yesterday, so that Gargoya Devil that was worth $4.75 yesterday is now only selling for $1.60.

The new reward card drops are certainly bringing down prices as the market is flooded with a strong supply of these cards. I don't own many cards and am usually a renter, but have heard from others that they have seem the market for older edition cards to be falling or stabilizing lately too.

This card price stabilization will be interesting to watch to see if the 10-20,000 new players per day that are joining the game will stick around with a more affordable entry-point.
