And I do mean little because this morning I slammed my fingers in the crease of a garage door and the typing struggle is real.

Here's the thing:

This morning has gone wrong in all the ways. See the above, but also sending my car keys with my daughter in her backpack, having to hitch a ride with my son's therapist to my workout, doing a workout with fingers swelling up like balloons, and coming home to find the fastest rejection ever in my inbox for [an essay it took me three years to build the courage to submit](https://steemit.com/writing/@shawnamawna/write-something-that-scares-you-every-day-3-tips).

Before you think this is a list of complaints, it isn't. I could be mad or anxious right now. I am neither.

I tracked down my keys. I made it to and through and from my workout even with balloon fingers (because I  love love love split jerk), and I'm already planning the next place to submit my personal essay.

I've got this. And it's in no small part because [I chose to put my mental health first](https://steemit.com/psychology/@shawnamawna/i-want-to-share-something-very-personal-about-stigma). Starting a prescription was a hard choice, but it was the right choice. Evidence: I am not in a tailspin. My week is not ruined. I have had zero panic attacks today. I am still writing.

Whatever your struggle, I hope you keep showing up for yourself and making the hard choices. You deserve the care.
