I'm back with my weekly post for Gods Unchained. This weekend event #187 I tried an aggro war deck. I really tried playing this deck but I gave up half way. Honestly speaking I was like 3 wins and 9 losses and I didn't want to do to poorly for the weekend event so I switched to a nature deck in the end and I still ended up doing poorly. I think it might be because I was tilted. This was probably one of my worst weekend event performances in a long time. I feel like I'm missing some really strong core cards for this deck playstyle which I didn't really have the funds to buy.

<center>  <h1> **My Deck & Analysis** </h1> </center>

I played an aggro war deck.  I found the deck to be super weak and honestly I didn't enjoy playing this deck. I'm missing Woodcutter Imps as well as a Sleigh Master Valka which would probably take this deck to the next level. It's also budget as you can see the Estimate price is only 31 dollars. The goal of this deck was to try to have early board pressure, and to hit face as much as possible because you want to win super fast before opponent scales if they playing control or a late game deck. <br> **1-2 mana**
I have Vanguard Axewoman for early game trades with opponent's monsters. It's also a good card to combo with Sole Survivor. I have Shollkin Valkyrie and Trial Spirit for turn 1 play. Battlebard was to buff my Vikings to do more damage / trade better against high health monsters with low attack. I played one Enduring Shield for early game board control with the protection. Tavern Brawler was there for trading opponent's monsters. Valka's Captain was for damage and early board pressure. Warmonger just had solid stats and it could also buff the relics in my deck. Wolf Cult Vanguard was to trade and clear opponent's monsters. 


<br> **3-4 mana**
Blade of Styx was to usually hit opponents face for 6 damage with its complete use but it could also be used for wiping opponent's monsters for board control. Oddi, Valka's Herald is a strong card when played at a turn when opponent has no monsters and low mana. Usually they can't remove it and you'll be able to decrease the mana cost of one of your monsters. Raid Reveller was a monster for board pressure as it had protect which would force 2 attacks or 2 spells to clear this card. Thunder Caller was another monster to pressure board since it gets a +1/1 buff for being frenzied every end of turn. Another round was to buff my monsters to hit face or for better trades as well as provide utility by buffing monsters in my hand. Viking Longship was mainly used to trade with opponent's monsters; you usually want to use this card to clear the opponent's monster without killing itself. White Fur Guard I used because I ran into this card a lot in past weekend and I felt it was a strong aggro war card since it had protection with great stats. I have Ferai Shapeshifter to help damage opponent's monsters while being hidden so it can hit opponent's face; this card also combos well with Sole Survivor as usually the opponent can't remove this card unless they have a random targeting or area damage spell.


<br> **5-6 mana**
I played Over-proof Brew to buff my board with protection. This card also helps clear a lot of those 1/1 zombies that can be annoying. Guild enforcer was mainly to defend against opponent's early aggro if they played any. It's also a solid card with great stats 3/5 with 1 armor at 5 mana. Sole Survivor was mainly used to help clear opponent's board if they had too many creatures and it does came out clutch for the wins I had with this deck.

<center>  <h1> **My Performance** </h1> </center>

As you can see below, my performance was alright. I got 7 wins out of 18 battles. It got me 3 core rare, 1 core epic, and 1 MJ rare packs which I will be opening and sharing on Thursday! I had under a 50% win rate for this weekend event and went from Solar Gold to Auric Gold.

<br> Honestly, I once again want to say I didn't like this deck. If you know better cheap/free variations that are stronger and don't need Woodcutting Imp and Sleigh Master Valka, do link me the deck in comments below and I may try playing aggro war again. I might have to try playing control war next time as I think I have better cards for that playstyle.
