What else to start a party off than a round of shots. Alcohol is widely consumed across china and we are well known for our rice wines. Spirits are very popular and sometimes there really isn’t any other way to swing it, it’s taken straight from the bottle the glass. It’s safe to say that after a few rounds of drinking games and toasts that most people will be feeling warm and ready to party the night away. Depending on the theme or occasion, there will often be some music to light up the vibe. There might even be a karaoke setup for those interested. Karaoke parties are very common across china and make for great fun.

Of course a party isn’t all about drinking and singing. Great food makes the belly content and of course soaks much of the alcohol up. Chinese party food is a little different to the western style finger foods but packs a great deal of flavour. In similar fashion they are bite sized and are often starchy, leaving guests pleasantly filled.
