When festivity comes around, I often partake in the act of giving. There is a certain magical feeling of giving away gifts during auspicious occasions. For the mid autumn festival there would be no better gift for my younger beloved relatives than a cute and tasty set of moon cakes. I often partaken in baking my own cakes during this time but there are times where time runs short and a certain finesse is required to appeal to a younger audience. While my own cakes can certainly fetch attention from the majority of guests in my family, it is sometimes nice to appreciate the gesture of specifically going out to buy some of the treats that a child wants during these special times.
