I believe that a very interesting way to pay homage to someone important in your country would be to place their image on coins that circulate throughout the country. Just imagine, everywhere and everywhere people seeing your face? Wondering who you are or searching online to find out more about the origins of this face? It would definitely be something incredible!

Here in Brazil (and perhaps throughout the rest of the world) coins are increasingly “disappearing”, as are notes, perhaps people are increasingly leaving their money in digital banks (Nubank, Pic Pay, C6 Bank, Mercado Pago, PagBank and others) and consequently use more transfers, physical cards or cell phone applications.

Even so, imagining that circulation is still large and if I could choose someone to put on one of the coins we use here, who would that person be? I have in mind two personalities (not as famous as one might imagine) that for me would be an honorable mention to have their faces on Brazilian coins.

This is something sensational! How can we measure the effort of this? From an unprecedented calamity like Covid and in just 2 days your genome was mapped?

I believe that this feat was something surreal and would deserve much more than all the honors she has probably already received. Therefore, I believe it would be really cool to create a commemorative edition, for Brazilian people who stand out in our country. Therefore, having this great woman represented on all coins circulating throughout the country would be another way of thanking everything she did, showing the strength of Brazilian women.

In my opinion, having her image displayed on the coins that circulate in our country should be something honored and created for personalities who stand out positively in this way. I think that football players, politicians, singers or other similar areas should not be considered to be represented on coins. It's a controversial opinion, but I think this should be exclusive to great events, discoveries or acts of courage carried out by our people.

Even with all the difficulties that Brazil has, such as prejudice against women, corruption, lack of seriousness on the part of the responsible bodies, education always left aside, she managed to achieve an incredible feat and certainly put the entire country in the spotlight of a very positive way. I don't know exactly the details, despite how much time has passed, but I always remember this happening. I believe that in an act of courage, without even thinking about what could happen to herself, she got into a physical fight with the attacker, helped save children, together with two other colleagues and unfortunately died with 90% of her body burned.

It's a shame, unfortunately, people like this who do good, without even fearing death, are often neither remembered nor exalted. 😞

Perhaps a form of example, of repercussion of the heroic act, that even though it didn't save everyone, she did something that saved some lives. Even though she was just an ordinary person, she didn't hesitate to try to help and save the children. For this very noble reason, I believe it would be incredible to recognize such heroism, with a tribute in which their image was engraved on the coins that circulate throughout Brazil, as these anonymous heroes and heroines are out there, always doing something for others.

## ***In conclusion***

Today the emotion spoke a little louder. I wanted to take advantage of the theme offered by Hive Learners to highlight just two examples of the many that we have out there, of good people, who deserve to be honored for their deeds, not that they save an entire country, but that there, in their circle of life, they do the difference.

No one is wrong in wanting a football player on the currency of their country, of their favorite influencer, Youtuber or singer that they like the most, but we need to learn to better choose who are the examples that we really want to follow, remember and honor. I believe that there are great people out there who deserve this, greater recognition for their achievements on behalf of other people and not just themselves.

The commemorative edition for the coins would be called ***“Heroines of Brazil”***, I think that name is cool, right? 😊

Acredito que uma maneira bem interessante de se homenagear alguém importante em seu país, seria colocar a sua imagem nas moedas que circulam por todo o território do mesmo. Imagine só, em todo e qualquer lugar as pessoas vendo o seu rosto? Se perguntando quem é você ou pesquisando na internet para saber mais sobre a origem deste rosto? Seria algo com certeza incrível!

Aqui no Brasil (e talvez pelo resto do mundo) as moedas estão cada vez mais “sumidas”, assim como as notas, talvez as pessoas estejam deixando seu dinheiro cada vez mais em bancos digitais (Nubank, Pic Pay, C6 Bank, Mercado Pago, PagBank e outros) e consequentemente utilizam mais transferências, cartões físicos ou em aplicativo de celulares.

Mesmo assim, imaginando que a circulação ainda é grande e se eu pudesse escolher alguém para colocar em alguma das moedas que por aqui utilizamos, quem seria essa pessoa? Tenho em mente duas personalidades (não tão famosas como se imagina) que para mim seria de uma menção honrosa poder ter seus rostos nas moedas brasileiras.

Acredito que você não faça ideia de quem seja, mas, não se preocupe, essa mulher é simplesmente a pessoa que, juntamente de sua equipe, foi uma das primeiras a mapear o genoma do novo coronavírus (SARS-CoV-2), em um tempo recorde de 48 horas após o primeiro caso confirmado no Brasil. Isso é algo sensacional! Como podemos medir o esforço disso? De uma calamidade sem precedentes como foi a Covid e em apenas 2 dias o seu genoma ser mapeado?

Acredito que esse feito foi algo surreal e mereceria muito mais do que todas as homenagens que ela provavelmente já recebeu. Por isso, acredito que seria muito legal criar uma edição comemorativa, para as pessoas brasileiras que se destacam em nosso país. Com isso, ter essa grande mulher representada em todas as moedas que circulam pelo país seria mais uma forma de agradecer tudo o que ela fez, mostrando a força da mulher brasileira.

Na minha opinião, ter a sua imagem divulgada nas moedas que circulam no nosso país deveria ser algo honrado e criado para personalidades que se destacam positivamente dessa forma. Penso que jogadores de futebol, políticos, cantores ou outras áreas afins como essas não devem ser cogitadas de serem representadas nas moedas. É uma opinião polemica, mas, julgo que isso deveria ser exclusivo para grandes acontecimentos, descobertas ou atos de coragem realizados pelas pessoas do nosso povo.

Mesmo com todas as dificuldades que o Brasil possui, como o preconceito com as mulheres, corrupção, falta de seriedade dos órgãos responsáveis, uma educação sempre deixada de lado, ela conseguiu realizar um feito incrível e com certeza colocou o país inteiro nos holofotes de uma forma muito positiva. Por isso, digo que seria muito interessante ter o seu rosto estampado nas moedas.

Nem sempre nossos heróis e/ou heroínas usam capa, têm super poderes ou visão de raio-x. Somos feitos de carne e osso, frágeis e para viver bastante, muitas vezes o que podemos fazer é viver com medo de tudo, sem se arriscar, sem fazer loucuras, pensando em cada movimento, em cada ação para tomar sempre aquela decisão que será a menos perigosa para nós.

Viver como um covarde para viver muito. Acredito que muitos vivem justamente pensando assim, com medo de tudo e fico imaginando, será que eu ou você, conseguiria fazer o que ***Heley de Abreu Silva*** fez, ao dar a própria vida para tentar salvar o máximo de crianças possíveis, em um ataque (talvez surto) de homem a uma creche que fica em Minas Gerais? Atendo fogo em si e em crianças?

Não sei exatamente os detalhes, apesar do tempo passado, mas, sempre lembro deste acontecido. Acredito que em um ato coragem, sem nem mesmo pensar no que poderia acontecer consigo mesma, ela entrou em luta corporal com o agressor, ajudou a salvar crianças, juntamente com outras duas colegas e morreu infelizmente com 90% do corpo queimado.

Uma lástima, infelizmente, pessoas assim que fazem o bem, sem nem temer a morte, muitas vezes não são nem lembradas e nem exaltadas. 😞

Talvez uma forma de exemplo, de repercussão do ato heroico, que mesmo não salvando a todos, ela fez algo que salvou algumas vidas. Mesmo sendo apenas uma pessoa comum, ela não hesitou em tentar ajudar e salvar as crianças. Por este motivo tão nobre, acredito que seria incrível reconhecer tal heroísmo, com uma homenagem em que sua imagem fosse gravada nas moedas que circulam pelo Brasil, pois estes heróis e heroínas anônimos, estão por ai, a todo instante fazendo algo pelo próximo.

## ***Concluindo***

Hoje a emoção falou um pouco mais alto. Quis aproveitar do tema oferecido pela Hive Learners para exaltar apenas dois exemplos de muitos que temos por aí, de pessoas boas, que merecem ser homenageadas por seus feitos, não que salvem um país inteiro, mas que ali, no seu círculo de vida, faça a diferença.

Ninguém está errado em querer um jogador de futebol na moeda do seu país, do seu influencer preferido, Youtuber ou cantor que mais gosta, mas, precisamos aprender a escolher melhor quem são os exemplos que realmente queremos seguir, lembrar e homenagear. Acredito que existem grandes pessoas por aí que merecem isso, um reconhecimento maior por seus feitos em favor de outras pessoas e não apenas de si.

A edição comemorativa para as moedas seria chamada de ***“Heroínas do Brasil”***, acho que fica legal esse nome não? 😊
