It was a news story about a teacher who had a problem with a student. While he was writing on the board, he was stabbed in the back by the student with a knife. I was left wondering, how did things get to this point? Of course, this isn't something that's been happening for a while now. These sad things have been happening for some time now and it seems like no one can do anything to make things better. Another news story that also shook me was about a teacher who had a heart attack in the classroom. All of this scares me because my mother has been a teacher for over 30 years and, thank God, nothing this serious has ever happened to her, but I wonder: will some crazy student ever do something bad to her? When I was a student, there was always the utmost respect for teachers, so despite the classroom having its moments of chaos and everything else, this respect for the teacher, the one who gives his life to teach us, to help us evolve in knowledge and as people, was never overstepped. This just shows how the world is today, with young people increasingly thinking they are the bosses, with no life experience whatsoever, they think they are the bosses of the place, the scoundrels of the moment and that is dangerous. As I often say, my generation is the last of the era when cell phones didn't exist, when we could correct our children without being judged. We are from a time of transition from a more respectable world to a more lawless one, not with freedom, but rather libertinism, which is when you do what you want and when you want and don't care what might happen to the people around you. In short, children, young people, are growing up without understanding what respect is, without understanding what it means to have limits on their actions. I am worried not only about my mother, but about my children as well, because they will have to live in this increasingly crazy world, where everyone does what they want and doesn't care if it will hurt those close to them. Even worse, I am afraid that my own children will be these agents of chaos, but I fight with all my strength to pass on the best of teachings to them, with great respect and humility. *I hope this world gets better as soon as possible so that everyone can live again with a little more peace and respect among their fellow men.*  <center>[Unsplash](https://unsplash.com/pt-br/fotografias/homem-em-camiseta-cinza-pescoco-da-tripulacao-e-calcas-pretas-em-pe-perto-da-mesa-de-madeira-preta-rReG42Hkqo4)</center>  Essa semana, vi uma coisa que me deixou bem triste, foi uma notícia sobre um professor que teve um problema com o aluno, no qual, enquanto ele passava seu conteúdo no quadro, ele levou um golpe de canivete nas costas por este aluno. Fiquei pensando, como as coisas chegaram neste ponto? Claro que não é de agora que está acontecendo isso, há algum tempo essas coisas tristes vêm acontecendo e parece que ninguém consegue fazer nada para melhorar. Outra notícia que me abalou também foi de uma professora que teve um infarto em sala de aula. Tudo isso me assusta porque a minha mãe é professora há mais de 30 anos e, graças a Deus, nunca aconteceu nada tão pesado, mas fico imaginando: será que algum dia algum aluno maluco irá fazer algo ruim contra ela? Na minha época de estudante, havia sempre o respeito máximo com os professores, com isso, a sala de aula apesar de ter os seus momentos de bagunça e tudo mais, nunca foi extrapolado esse respeito com o professor, aquele que doa a sua vida para nos ensinar, para nos ajudar a evoluir em conhecimento e como pessoas. Isso somente mostra como está o mundo hoje, com jovens cada vez mais se achando donos de si, sem experiência nenhuma de vida, se acham o dono do pedaço, os malandros da vez e isso é um perigo. Como costumo falar, a minha geração é a última da era em que não existiam celulares, em que podíamos corrigir nossos filhos sem ser julgados, somos da época de transição de um mundo mais respeitável para um mais sem leis, não com liberdade, mas sim, libertinagem, que é quando você faz o que quer e quando quer e não está nem aí para o que pode acontecer com as pessoas próximas de você. Em resumo, os filhos, os jovens, estão crescendo sem entender o que é respeito, sem entender o que é ter limites para suas ações. Fico preocupado não somente com minha mãe, mas com meus filhos também, pois eles terão que viver neste mundo cada vez mais maluco, onde cada um faz o que quer e não se preocupa se isso vai ferir seus próximos.
