We constantly seek peace of mind in our lives, aiming for it as a concrete and tangible objective, although it is not always that way. It's okay if by chance you don't achieve this goal, today, with a more open mind and understanding that this peace is often equated with the search for perfect happiness, which in my opinion doesn't exist, peace and chaos are placed as 2 sides of a same currency.

This doesn't mean that we should just accept everything bad that happens, but being at peace with ourselves is a goal that is achieved at certain times and not at others. The disturbance can come from within, from our mind that worries too much about things, be it a bill to pay or an argument with someone we love. Being at peace all the time is complicated and if you can be smiling, vibrant and with your head up all the time, congratulations, you really have a difference that I currently don't believe exists very much.

After my experiences and texts that I usually read, I can say that peace of mind is not usually constant, all the time to be more exact, so it depends on us to look for it, but accept that, just like happiness, it will not occur and it will remain infinitely in our lives, yes, that's what I learned from my mistakes and successes and reflections that I usually make about how my life has been and everything that surrounds me. I began to understand that accepting and understanding is better than continuing with the incessant pursuit of this.

For example, two things that take away my peace of mind are related to financial issues, when the bills and expenses for the month are equal to or greater than what I have for the given period. This worries me a lot, because I'm always afraid of not living up to the expectations of taking care of my family, of providing them with the best I can give them. I know this sounds a bit cliché, but I'm the type of person (or man if you want) who, being the head of the family and contributing most of the resources, thinks that it's obviously my duty to do what's best for them.

The other issue, perhaps to people's surprise, is what is related to marriage and my relationship with my wife. I believe that this point is more common than it seems for everyone, we know how complex a relationship is and that, no matter how much I try to do everything and do my best, everything still seems little. I would like to live in a relationship where fights don't happen and where dialogue is the key to everything, but this is not always achieved and, as I love my wife, the tantrums, closed faces and the punishment of silence applied tend to hurt me and, consequently, take away my peace of mind.

Anyway, it's not easy to be well all the time, to tell the truth, the objective of this text is precisely to show that this weighs much more in life than it seems, the incessant search for perfect happiness (or peace). In my opinion, it no longer exists, so when everything falls apart, the way to stay is to remain calm, reflect and have the courage to seek peace again, sometimes leaving pride aside or just trying to understand where the breaking point was. and with that, it won't happen again.

*Finally, life is that old ferris wheel, where we are on top at a certain moment and not at another, and learning to accept this, in my opinion, is the best thing we can do to have a better quality of life and a peace of mind more often.*

Constantemente buscamos pela paz de espírito em nossas vidas, almejando-a como um objetivo concreto e palpável, apesar de que nem sempre é dessa forma. Tudo bem se por acaso não alcançar esse objetivo, hoje, com a mente mais aberta e entendendo que essa paz muitas vezes se iguala à busca pela felicidade perfeita, o que na minha opinião não existe, paz e caos são colocados como 2 lados de uma mesma moeda.

Isso não quer dizer que devemos apenas aceitar tudo de ruim que acontece, mas estar em paz consigo mesmo é um objetivo que em certos momentos é alcançado e em outros não. A perturbação pode vir de dentro, da nossa mente que se preocupa demais com as coisas, seja uma conta para pagar ou uma discussão com quem amamos. Estar em paz o tempo todo é complicado e se você consegue estar sorridente, vibrante e de cabeça erguida o tempo todo, parabéns, você realmente possui um diferencial que atualmente não acredito existir muito.

Depois das minhas experiências e textos que costumo ler, posso dizer que a paz de espírito não costuma ser constante, o tempo todo para ser mais exato, então depende de nós buscarmos por ela, mas aceitar que, assim como a felicidade ela não ocorrerá e se manterá infinitivamente em nossas vidas, sim, foi isso que aprendi com meus erros e acertos e reflexões que costumo fazer sobre como tem sido a minha vida e tudo o que me rodeia. Comecei a entender que aceitar e compreender é melhor do que continuar com a busca incessante disso.

Por exemplo, duas coisas que tiram a minha paz de espírito são relacionadas a questões financeiras, quando as contas e gastos do mês são iguais ou maiores do que possuo para o dado período. Isso me preocupa muito, pois fico sempre com o medo de não corresponder às expectativas de cuidar da minha família, de prover para eles o melhor possível que posso dar a eles. Sei que parece meio clichê isso, mas sou o tipo de pessoa (ou de homem se assim quiser) que, sendo o chefe da família e contribuindo com a maioria dos recursos, pensa que obviamente é o meu dever fazer o melhor para eles.

A outra questão, para talvez a não surpresa das pessoas, é o que está relacionado ao casamento e ao meu relacionamento com a minha esposa. Acredito que esse ponto seja mais comum do que parece para todo mundo, sabemos como é complexo um relacionamento e que, por mais que tento fazer de tudo e dar o meu melhor, tudo ainda parece pouco. Gostaria de viver um relacionamento onde brigas não acontecessem e que o diálogo fosse o primor de tudo, mas nem sempre isso é alcançado e, como amo a minha esposa, as birras, caras fechadas e o castigo do silêncio aplicado costumam me ferir e, consequentemente, tirar a minha paz de espírito.

Enfim, não é fácil estar bem o tempo todo, para falar a verdade, o objetivo deste texto é justamente mostrar que isso pesa muito mais na vida do que parece, a busca incessante pela felicidade (ou paz) perfeita. A meu ver, ela não existe mais, portanto, quando tudo desaba, o jeito é manter a calma, refletir e ter a coragem de buscar novamente a paz, às vezes deixando o orgulho de lado ou apenas tentando entender onde foi o ponto de ruptura e, com isso, que não aconteça mais. 

*Por fim, a vida é aquela velha roda gigante, onde estamos por cima em um certo momento e em outro não, e aprender a aceitar isso, a meu ver, é o melhor que podemos fazer para ter uma qualidade de vida melhor e uma paz de espírito com mais frequência.*
