We say that difficult moments exist to strengthen us, to show us that it is not possible to have a colorful and joyful life 100% of the time. It is necessary to go through difficulties to know how to truly value the good moments, whether they are individual or with the people we love. That's why I always say that we need to be calm in these complicated moments and that not everything is lost, they serve to teach us a lot about life, even though I wasn't always like this.

There was a time when I went through a very complicated moment when my grandmother on my mother's side died, we were very close to her and she practically raised me for more than 10 years, maybe even 15 if my memory serves me correctly, it was It was because of this grandmother that my mother was able to finish college and get a legal job working for the state here where we live. I remember the many times I stayed at my grandmother's house to watch television while waiting for my mother (who studied at night) to arrive.
 
She was the strongest bond we had in our family, Christmas and New Year gatherings always took place at her house, we were united because of her, my grandmother's name was Luzia and she was a true warrior. Unfortunately, when the time came for his departure, the family also died together, because practically everyone went their own way, apart from my aunt and her children who still continued to maintain the tradition with us of getting together on these important dates.

But how did this fact make me stronger? The biggest problem, besides losing a family member, was that my mother fell apart at that time, she became quite depressed and this brought negative results, such as anxiety attacks and depression, I remember that it was at this stage that she started to have these problems and Well, my biggest fear was my mother doing something against her own life or going into some catastrophic state of depression, after all, no one is prepared to lose their mother. My queen got really bad, really, with a lot of missing work and not wanting to get out of bed or eat properly.

With that, seeing my mother with crying spells, sleepless nights and lack of appetite, showed me that I would have to evolve, that I would have to be very patient and calm, as I was also suffering from the loss of my daughter. grandmother, but my mother was destroyed inside. So, I realized that I needed to grow up mentally and put aside my childishness, to be my mother's physical, emotional and mental support, I had to have a lot of patience for crises and be there whenever possible to try to keep her well.

It wasn't easy at all, on the contrary, it was one of the biggest challenges I faced in my life, I remember that when this happened I already had a job and I had to miss a few times to accompany her to her appointments and medical exams, I endured a lot of scolding from boss and many moments when I simply had nothing to do, but I didn't want to leave her alone at all, so with all this I learned what it was to be a real man, a real son, being present in my mother's life when she more needed.

I had to face my fears, accept the responsibility of an adult who needed to take care of my mother, put aside my individualistic desires and give myself completely to her until this bad moment passed, until the scar closed. No one is prepared for death, not even their loved ones, so supporting my mother was all I could do, sharing that same pain and trying to help her as much as possible was one of the greatest lessons I've had in my life.

Thank God and after a lot of support from me and some of her friends, she overcame these moments of crisis and returned to the routine of her life, today she is well, working and more reconciled with what happened, especially because it has been a few years, but my grandmother's memory will always be in our minds and hearts.

Dizemos que os momentos difíceis existem para nos fortalecer, para nos mostrar que não é possível ter uma vida colorida e alegre 100% do tempo. É necessário passar pelas dificuldades para saber valorizar de verdade os bons momentos, sejam eles individuais ou com as pessoas que amamos. Por isso sempre digo ser preciso ter calma nestes momentos complicados e que nem tudo está perdido, eles servem para nos ensinar muito sobre a vida, apesar de que nem sempre fui assim.

Houve uma época em que passei por um momento bem complicado que foi quando a minha avó por parte de mãe morreu, éramos muito ligados a ela e praticamente ela me criou por mais de 10 anos, talvez até 15 se não me falha a memória, foi por causa dessa avó que a minha mãe conseguiu terminar a faculdade e conseguir um emprego legal trabalhando para o estado aqui onde moramos. Lembro das muitas vezes em que ficava na casa da minha avó para ver televisão enquanto esperava a minha mãe (que estudava a noite) chegar.
 
Ela era o vínculo mais forte que tínhamos na nossa família, reuniões de natal e ano novo sempre aconteciam na casa dela, eramos unidos por conta dela, minha avó se chamava Luzia e era uma verdadeira guerreira. Infelizmente, quando chegou o momento de sua partida, meio que a família também morreu junto, porque foi praticamente cada um para o seu lado, tirando uma tia minha e seus filhos que ainda continuaram mantendo a tradição conosco de nos reunirmos nestas datas importantes.

Só que, como esse fato me deixou mais forte? O maior problema além de ter perdido um familiar, foi que a minha mãe desmourou junto naquela época, ela ficou bastante abatida e isso trouxe resultados negativos, como crises de ansiedade e depressão, lembro que foi nessa fase que ela começou a ter estes problemas e bem, o meu maior medo era minha mãe fazer algo contra a sua própria vida ou entrar em algum estado catastrófico de depressão, afinal, ninguém está preparado para perder a sua mãe. Minha rainha ficou ruim mesmo, de verdade, com muitas faltas ao trabalho e sem querer sair da cama ou comer corretamente.

Com isso, eu vendo minha mãe com as crises de choro, as noites mal dormidas e a falta de apetite, me mostrou que eu teria que evoluir, que eu teria que ter muita paciência e calma, pois eu também estava sofrendo pela perca da minha avó, mas a minha mãe estava destruída por dentro. Então, percebi que precisava crescer mentalmente e deixar de lado minhas infantilidades, para ser o apoio físico, emocional e mental da minha mãe, tive que ter muita paciência para as crises e estar presente sempre que possível para tentar mantê-la bem.

Não foi nada fácil, muito pelo contrário foi um dos maiores desafios que enfrentei na minha vida, lembro que quando isso aconteceu eu já tinha um emprego e tive que faltar algumas vezes para acompanhá-la em suas consultas e exames médicos, aguentei muita bronca de patrão e muitos momentos em que simplesmente não tinha o que fazer, mas não queria deixar ela sozinha de jeito nenhum, então com tudo isso aprendi o que era ser um homem de verdade, um filho de verdade estando presente na vida da minha mãe quando ela mais precisou.

Tive que enfrentar os meus medos, aceitar a responsabilidade de um adulto que precisava cuidar da mãe, deixar de lado meus desejos individualistas e me doar por completo para ela até que esse momento ruim passasse, até que a cicatriz se fechasse. Ninguém está preparado para a morte, nem mesmo de seus entes queridos, então apoiar a minha mãe era tudo o que podia fazer, dividir essa mesma dor e tentar ajudá-la ao máximo foi um dos meus maiores ensinamento que tive na minha vida. 

Graças a Deus e depois de muito apoio meu e de alguns amigos dela, ela superou estes momentos de crises e voltou a rotina da sua vida, hoje ela está bem, trabalhando e mais conformada com o que aconteceu, até porque já se passou alguns anos, mas a memória da minha avó sempre estará em nossas mentes e corações.
