경주, 강변의 중국집.

경주, 강변에 깔끔한 중국집이 있습니다. 주차는 좀 힘든데 그래도 어떻게 자리가 나긴 하더라고요.

가게 외벽에 가격표도 간단하게 붙어있습니다.

주문은 탕수육, 기스면, 볶음밥. 메뉴판을 보니 왠지 있어보이더라고요. 기스면. 무슨 맛인지 전혀 모르지만 어디서 쉽게 먹어볼 수 있는 건 아니잖아요. 폼 날 것 같아서 시켰습니다.

아이 먹으라고 작은 접시에 담은 기스면. 면발은 좋은데 국물 맛은 이게 뭔지 잘 모르겠습니다. 강렬한 맛이 있는 건 아니고.. 참기름이 좀 들어간 은은하게 짠맛에 닭고기와 계란이 건더기로 들어가 있네요. 아이와 함께 먹기는 좋았지만 어른의 입맛에는 좀 닝닝한 느낌이었습니다.

좀 있어보이는 중국집의 마무리 후식, 고구마 맛탕! 관광지 외곽의 붐비지 않는, 깔끔한 식당을 찾는다면 여기가 괜찮을 듯 합니다.

사전을 찾아보니 이름에 '닭 계'가 들어가더라고요. 계란과 닭고기로 맛을 낸 면을 말하는 것 같습니다. 그걸로는 너무 심심하니 짬뽕처럼 채소도 좀 볶아넣고 참기름도 좀 넣고.. 익숙치 않은 맛이었습니다.
