Keeping It Real 29

## The Real Superheroines of Hive Valley

Finished my job interview. Did a 20-minute lesson to a kindergarten class on "how to look at art." My bullet points I tried to convey:
- "A picture is worth a thousand words"
- The main thing in the picture is the "sub-ject"
- Everything else are "de-tails"

Obviously, I did not use this panel for the lesson. I opted for a kitty cat book.

It was fun. I've got a week until I hear if I got the job or not. Right now, I'm relaxing at Panera Bread in Vallejo--using their Wi-Fi to upload today's Real Superheroines panel. 

I'll probably try to take some sub jobs during the week while I'm waiting... But, since I've got today off, I'll try to get some drawings done.

Actually my main reason for frequenting Panera is because they have an "unlimited sip club." For $11/month you can get a free beverage every time you go in, up to every two hours. Of course that doesn't count the fancy espresso beverages, but I usually get an ice tea, ice coffee, or one of those caffeinated juices. Occasionally, a Dr. Pepper.

That seems a good deal. We experienced various food on our trip, but most of it was in independent eateries.
