I just recently saw a few of these for sale. I do not remember the years on them though. I do remember they were 5 schilling and obviously King George, but what I found really quite cool was the Springbok on the back. I thought the hairs down its back and butt (Hinny hehehe) looked rather neat. 😁

I love the Springbok as well, @joanstewart. It was the chosen design of the Krugerrand bullion coin. May stackers are very familiar with the design but failed to see that it was designed for the large crowns of South Africa.
I really love these coins.
