What can you BUY with BITCOIN or STEEM?

I'm new to crypto currency and I'm interested in starting a conversation in the comments section about what YOU have purchased using crypto currencies. TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS WHAT YOU BUY, or want to buy with crypto, please.

I was at a party last night and heard of a person that I don't know and who the teller didn't like who was "selling" bitcoin for double what it was worth. I said, "What a jerk!" (Apparently he's out there giving the rest of you a bad name.) Just to show you what a jerk this guy is he traded in his former life of illegal activity to take up ripping people off legally. The kind of guy you want to bring home and meet your mom, right? It's my opinion that if a law is unfair you try to change the law. Not break the law. But I'm a goody goody. You are certainly entitled to your own opinion.

It's a shame people who want to skirt the law are drawn to crypto but I guess freedom comes with it's price, now doesn't it?

Tell me if I'm wrong. There's nothing wrong with making a profit but cheating people is wrong, don't care who you are. If the "customer" knows that you've marked up the price in order to make a profit or to make it convenient for people sure, fine. Does anyone complain about how a 16 ounce drink is $1.79 at a convenience store but a two liter bottle costs .97 at a big box grocery store? I mean anyone other than me, I'm frugal.
(I'm never buying a teapot again!)

(I made my hubby this federal reserve note & credit card wallet for Father's Day. He loves his wallet! We gave it to him this morning and made him French Toast. (Oops, random again.) )

About the law...
Is it legal for the Fed to manipulate the currency? Sure it is. Its says right on there "Federal Reserve Note" they are counting on people being too stupid to know that note refers to a debt that the Fed is manipulating the value of. There's nothing wrong with making an investment outside of the manipulation of the fed. At least not yet.

Like anything in life people are often drawn to what makes what they do even easier. Because how easy it is to transfer around, and liquidate cryptocurrency like bitcoin criminals love it. Black markets where illegal goods and services can be bought love it even more since millions to hundreds of millions can be sent global from anywhere without ever having to touch a bank and risk having it being held up and sized.  With their being thousands of cryptocurrency it’s never been easier for criminals to take their dirty blood money and turn it into crisp $100 bills fresh off the press.

As far as using and spending it:
Here on Steemit we have this section for spending and using from people posting short term work https://steemit.com/created/steemgigs
Lots of sites accept certain cryptocurrency you will need do your due diligence as it could be a scam or not. I have in past bought video games with bitcoin but that was a long time ago.

Some countries even have atm like machines where you can cash out for cold hard cash. Not sure where those are.

Then you have exchanges where people can trade cryptocurrency or even cash to transfer to a bank. I have been out of loop for a while so I am not sure what is a safe exchange anymore to do those types of trades.

I’m sure if you look around other Steemit users have blog about how and where to spend. Safe places they have found to use it and the like.

i think as more businesses start to adopt BTC and cryptocurrencies in general, it'll bring the credibility and widespread acceptance. personally i think i'd go out on a restaurant and pay using BTC
