<center>How do we convince our loved ones and closest friends that stacking silver are gold is a very smart investment and should be the base of everyone's pension saving’s. I say pension saving's because that is what most of us stack for. I don’t see anyone buying a roll of eagles every month when they are saving for a holiday, they save their money it in the bank. We stack for our pension are for the long term at least. When I am writing this, I am thinking mostly about my 2 kids and how to teach them the importance of money and saving's. For a while now, I let them both pick an oz each when I’m placing an order but they just pick whatever is in front of them, not evening scrolling down to search others. They have stacks of 15-20 Oz’s each. The wife is too far gone, but I have a little pocket money to play with so it's all good :D

First off, last year the kids brought home from school, Bank applications (not on your phone). I remember being put of the saving club and getting a pencil set and a hippo piggy bank every year when I at school and it was ok. The interest rates back then were around 4%, the interest rate now offered by the same bank is around 0.02%. I started out by taking both the kids and telling them the money could not be touched until they were 18 (I lied)and then I showed them on a compounding calculator what £5 a week does over 9 years with the rate I got compared to the rate they were offered. The result was their accounts in 9 years would have a final balance of £2,350 with yearly interest of £0.45 while my old account would have had a balance of £2,829 earning yearly interest of £106.07. They did not seem that interested at this point, my son more so than my daughter.

Next part of the plan was the show them my excel sheet so they could see the numbers. I track all my coins every month to keep resale value's ballpark figures and when compared to the buying prices, some are over 120% in profit. This has a lot to do with me buying them Vat free and my resale including it, but that’s a different topic for a different time.  As I let the kids look through my database of coins, I noticed they were looking for the coins they had in their stacks and adding the prices up on their tablets. They then started to compare their stacks and ask me why some are worth more than other's? how I knew which one to buy?, how long do I need to keep them for? And many more. As soon as they seen the difference in return for silver bullion over bank interest, I had their attention. Them both having silver stacks played a huge role in this reaction.

Ahhh....haaa, I have them now, they are swimming around the worm and I am going to hook them. I dug deep and pulled out my whole stack and let them go to town on it. My son was asking about the Britannia date run, he wanted to see it because the profit % is very high and wanted to see why by looking at the coins. My daughter was looking to see the 2004 kookaburra and my 1/2oz lunars. I made a mistake. 2 hours later and bullion all over the living room I was wrecked from answering questions and wiping paw prints from wooden boxes and capsules. They helped me gather everything up and back into the monster boxes, then hidden away again. They had got a lot of information from me that day and I was glad with the result. They are both more selective with what they have got since. The son seems to go with high premium stuff like panda's, lunar year coins and the daughter seems to be trying to fill a date run for koalas. All in all, good result.

When it comes to family and friends, they all know I love my silver and I love stacking. My way of thinking is, they know that I know a bunch about stacking silver and gold and if they what to know everything on the subject, they can ask me. I am not going to push it on them are try to sell it. I have had a 2 friends in 5 years ask me around it and but some. 1 friend sold his stack to me after 1 year, and the other bought once and never bought again (how did he not get hooked?). We are and it’s sad to say the small percentage of people who understand true wealth.
