HOME IMPROVEMENT CONTINUES!..........

Hi guys, well the home remodeling continues as I just finished skylight # three.  I now need to run up to Canada Saturday to pick up a two foot section of six inch chimney pipe to extend the chimney a little higher......

I just timed this right, yesterday my Wife had the A/C on in the car 85 degree's.  Today I have a fire in this wood stove and it is gray and raining,  I know it is really hard to believe.  This chimney is the best I have installed, it is Excel brand pipe made in Canada and there fire rating is much tougher than the U.S. standards.

This is the reason for the longer pipe, this is a new high efficiency wood stove made by Englander and it really puts out the heat but it needs a extra long pipe to create a good draft.  On very windy days you will still  get a down draft, so off to Canada I go.....

I really like wood stoves: my grandmother had one of this kind in her country house. It was old but at the same time It was beautiful!

This is 6 inch wood stove pipe, the outside has about 1 inch thich insulation.
