The woman in blue (oil on paper)

Happy Saturday to you all! Today, when I woke up in the morning, the sky was grey and it was cold again, so I felt the need to add some colors to my day and I decided to use a brilliant blue for my new piece:

It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A5 size about a woman in shades of blue color.While I was working on it, I was thinking about the sea, because during these days some of my friends tell me how much they appreciate my artworks of the series "Thinking about the sea".

As I use to do everytime I shared with you something new, I took some pics during the process:

I hope you like it!
This oil on paper is just a fast small painting, but to work on it was like to sketch something as a study for something more complex (and larger ^_^) and I think this sort of subject will be on one of my next canvas, so stay tuned. ^_^
